The Silent Scandal That Scarred a Generation
Elsagate
this post isn't about art. it's about something darker. something that slipped under the radar while the world was busy scrolling.
the whole next generation is in trouble—and most parents didn’t even realise it was happening. during the height of the elsagate scandal, thousands of kids were exposed to disturbing, violent, and even sexual content disguised as innocent cartoons. videos with titles like “funny elsa and spiderman” or “peppa pig doctor game” were actually filled with abuse, fear, injections, pregnancy, and worse. and it was all on youtube. even youtube kids.
for a lot of children, this was their first real trauma. and it came from a screen their parents thought was safe.
the damage? silent. kids couldn’t explain what they saw. parents didn’t know what to look for. anxiety, nightmares, strange behaviour—it was all there, but the cause was invisible. families tried to fix what they didn’t understand. some broke trying.
and the worst part? it wasn’t a glitch.

Hey, 2009 kid here.
I remember this YouTube channel (or channels) from about 2016 or 2017, where Hatchimal characters were put in weird situations involving feces, urine, pregnancy, and other things that I cannot recall to mind. I was about seven or so at the time. Unfortunately, I can't remember the channel's name. I don't know if it is still up on YT or not. Looking back at it after almost nine years, I know that these videos are f$^ked up and now I am really scared for the kids today. IK that I sound like a Boomer, but it really scares me. Can any of you guys who used to watch those videos name the channel(s) and possibly even their creator(s)?

That was the sound as you closed your apartment’s door. You finally got home after a weekend of babysitting your nieces, and dear god it took the energy out of you.
Those kids could possibly run a marathon five times and still have energy, your aging body couldn’t keep up with their antics either. You felt like you lived through the Truman Administration….
But the silver in the storm was when you watched cartoons together. The nieces were into your average modern preschool shows: Paw Patrol, Bluey, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse…
You never grew up with them, but strangely, those shows reminded you of simpler times. The only things you had to worry about were what dinner was going to be and who was the fastest.
Perhaps maybe the internet can help you relive those old memories…if it didn’t ruin your childhood first.
You opened up YouTube and typed in the first thing that came into your mind, SpongeBob SquarePants. You always loved the first movie when you saw it in theaters, and
