Hello, and welcome to a little project dedicated to increasing viewership toward what I consider to be underrated artists and pieces of art! Today's featured artist is IvyWitching, aka Isabell, photographer from Germany. [DEVIATION] "I got into Photography mostly because of my father. He used to travel a lot because of his work and when I was little, I loved to look at all the pictures he took of the landscapes and cities. He generally always took a lot of photos and at some point, I’d rather be behind the camera than in front of it. That sparked the joy in me to capture memories and create something people could enjoy." [DEVIATION] "When I first got more into photography (other than just taking pictures on vacations and in our backyard), I had a big problem taking photos in public. I used to be really shy, so I was always kind of uncomfortable photographing with a lot of people around. Especially in areas that were not that touristy, I always felt like people are just starring at me.

Hello everyone, [GIF] I am known as Malintra-Shadowmoon (friends call me Mali): I live in Germany and have been a Community Volunteer (CV) for over six years. I received my first CV role in Literature in April 2020, shortly after earning my Senior Medal in January of that same year. Later, I added Artisan Crafts and Traditional Art to my responsibilities. Following the introduction of AI on DA, I strongly advocated for Synthography/AI to have its own category and become eligible for Daily Deviations (DDs). As this was important to me, I was delighted to become one of the first CVs for this category. [EMOTE] [EMOTE] [EMOTE] [EMOTE][EMOTE] My journey on DA began about 14 years ago, in April 2012. At the time, I wasn't sure whether to join Elfwood Lysator (which has long since ceased to exist) or DA. I felt that literature was more highly valued on DA than on Elfwood, I fortunately chose DA—and I couldn't have wished for a better home for my art. Those were my first works

Hello! [EMOTE] I've been a CV ("community volunteer", meaning I have a fancy heart after my username and do some stuff I'll explain further down in this journal) for more than four years now, and lots of people have joined the site since then - or started to watch me or come across me in other settings. Said simply, a little (re)introduction on who I am and what I do is in order. [DEVIATION] To be honest, the "about me" is rather easy: what you see on my profile is what you get. I go by "Becky Kidus" - shortened to just "Becky", I live in Northern Norway, I'm a teacher during my day job (the only surprise here might be that it doesn't involve art - yet -, but rather English, civics, and history), I enjoy hiking and animals, something which has combined into becoming an avid birdwatcher. And, of course, general animal-watcher, should any deer or foxes or the like cross my path. At night I'm an artist, drawing animals and nature, and writing art tutorials mostly featuring animals

At the time, I was listening to a lot of hip-hop, and the name just clicked. I loved the way "Mika Digital" sounded, and it felt like the perfect creative identity to represent my work. So, I didn't intend to do a part 2. But given a recent request, I suppose this makes the most sense. [EMOTE] With that said, I guess I should start with this: Hi, I'm Rachel, and I am here to share a bit more about me. [EMOTE] [GIF] My history is a bit chaotic (just like my personality). [EMOTE] I have been on DeviantArt since October 2006 via my original account, @Esheye-Telari. Of course, due to my chaotic nature, I had a hard time during my teen years. Eventually, I started over with this account. Hello! [EMOTE] DA is reintroducing CVs and ambassadors so that fellow deviants know that we're here to help. [EMOTE] I’m AG, a Community Volunteer and Ambassador for Synthography (AI) and Digital Art. I feature Daily Deviations, write community journals, and hopefully help great work get noticed. I joined DA about 17 years ago, bringing more enthusiasm than skill. My gallery was filled with amateur photography, bad poetry, horrible prose, robots, ninjas, and a few things better left forgotten. [EMOTE] Long before I had a little heart beside my username, community was already very important to me. [DEVIATION] First DD was a PDF.[EMOTE] But it was for the community, so that's cool! I have a Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and worked in creative fields for over 25 years before retiring as a Creative Director. That background still shapes how I see images. Whether something’s painted, photographed, or generated, I care about the link between the idea and its execution.
