Human Spirit
The human spirit is unique in its own right. Many sci-fi stories explain it as a force of nature that can't be stopped once it adapts and focuses on one objective.
To win, to protect, to achieve, and to be remembered.
It may be an unknown fact that we humans have the fear of being forgotten. At some point, a thought comes into mind and nags us like a fly that'll avoid every swipe of your hand.
Do we want our name to be described in stone, in history, or even in the very future of humanity? But these things may not happen in our lifetime, as it was the case for so many.
Vincent van Gogh's artworks weren't famous in his lifetime, but in the future, it shaped our modern art. He never knew that his work would get famous, but we know because we exist in that future.
The point is that the human spirit is like a flame, everyone who passes away can be water to our ember, but it can also fuel our determination, our grit, and our way of life.

Feature: Writing tutorials + undiscovered art by BeckyKidus, journal
Feature: Writing tutorials + undiscovered art
It is time to feature more tutorials and undiscovered art! :dummy:
As usual, the feature will be divided into two parts. The first part includes tutorials on how to design characters and creatures, and the second part is a selection of artwork I’ve discovered recently with fewer than 50 favourites.
Previous features are linked at the bottom of the journal, and I post a new feature each month on my profile, usually around the 15th :la:
This month, we'll focus on an art form which can be a bit hidden on DA, namely writing. There are a lot of good stories, fan fiction and poetry out there, though - as well as some excellent tutorials on writing!
First, we'll start with... well, story writing. @illuminara and @OokamiKasumi start us off by giving some tips on how to start writing in general, as well as giving some beginner tips. illuminara also has an enlightening guide on how to write your first draft, and then @MomoPoms gives some great advice on how to write good fanfiction
Fan Art Friday: Blue Eye Samurai by AlexanderPaupoff, journal
Fan Art Friday: Blue Eye Samurai
Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix is a visually striking animated series with a gripping storyline, unique characters, and powerful themes like identity, honour, and vengeance.
Set in Edo-era Japan, the eponymous blue-eyed samurai, Mizu, embarks on a relentless quest for vengeance. In a society that values purity and conformity above all else, the mixed-race Mizu is an outcast, experiencing deep-rooted prejudice and abuse at every turn. Demonised by society, Mizu's insatiable need for revenge against those responsible for her origin begins to threaten her very humanity.
This week's Fan Art Friday feature pays tribute to Mizu's unforgettable journey - her strength, determination, and vulnerability - with some amazing fan art created by the community.
An artist gives all they have to the art, the whole. Your strengths and deficiencies, your loves and shames. Perhaps the people you collected. - The Swordfather
If one god forsakes you, another one will help you.

Cat- burger Tutorial
Hello, I'm glad to see you! This Month's Theme: Cat Burger (o˘◡˘o)
That's why I created a small tutorial for you! I draw in Paint Tol Sai 2 but you can use another graphics editor or traditional materials!
Follow the steps and create your own artwork! Post your drawing on DeviantArt with the tag #CatBurgerTutorial and get a Profile badge! This Cat-burger tutorial was Sponsored by DeviantArt!
1. First, let's draw a sketch of a cat burger, for this, draw 2 plump oval buns and 1 more square oval between them for the filling of the burger.
2. Erase the extra lines as shown in the picture.
3. Let's draw triangular ears and paws on the buns.
4. Let's draw a cat's face.
5. Add wavy lettuce leaves under the top and bottom buns and seeds on the cat's head.
Now let's color our cat burger by choosing the color of the filling and buns. Move the sketch layer above and paint underneath it. Or paint over the sketch if you are drawing with traditional materials.
Now I create a layer
