In response to community requests, the Hype badge, which boosts deviations to a larger audience on Browse, is now a permanent feature on DeviantArt! More people seeing art often leads to more comments and favorites, which can encourage an artist and really brighten their day. How the Hype Badge Works Deviations that receive a Hype badge will be boosted to more people’s Home pages for two days! Hype badges can be granted for 100 fragments, and the deviant who receives it will also get 10 fragments. You can only award a Hype badge to a deviation once. While posts and comments can be given a Hype badge, they won't receive any boosting effect. The Hype badge is replacing the Emerald badge, which cost the same amount of fragments to grant.
