There is a commercial, perhaps you've seen it, of a man who is walking down a city sidewalk. He casually strolls, minding his own business, through a sea of people, many in suits and ties. He appears to have no direction, no thoughts, and heading to nowhere in particular. Just a bespectacled younger/older gentleman. He is wearing a tie, but his top button is not buttoned. He holds a coffee cup in one hand and appears to not be wearing a suit jacket like the faceless army of suited drones around him. He doesn't belong. And we, the audience, are drawn to this sense of isolation. Who wouldn't? We are, for all intents and purposes, this man.
