Swiftly to the Land of Dead

"Swiftly to the Land of Dead, Will I come back again?" 

Last time I was at a hotel, I found a dead bird outside by one of the doors. I carefully moved it to a nearby tree and covered it with leaves. Then I drew this. 

The original was ink and watercolor - I then did some digital remixing with some of my other painted backgrounds to give it some OOMPH.
