Well, it has been nearly two years since my last update. If you're anything like me, I like to occasionally revisit my past and stir up the settled dust every so often. Deviantart holds a special, tiny corner in my heart as it reminds me of the days when all I had to worry about was learning how to draw eyes that were more or less un-lopsided, with which I am still struggling, or how I was going to afford that awesome new item on Gaia.
These days, I'm working on a masters course (and I moved halfway across the world to do so), have abandoned drawing scantily clad women for fake internet points, and no longer really care about anime or the stuff I loved when I was 17 (surprise). Instead, I write and illustrate for various publications, study developing brains, do dishes, meet people, go to meetings.. adult stuff. But, I still like drawing scantily clad women. I still watch nerdy TV shows and read fantasy and sci fi novels. I still like making houses in the Sims and playing virtual dress-up. Still love staying up late and communicating with close friends by weird noises. Still just a giant kid in an adult suit, really. Perhaps a giant kid with more life experience.
I guess this post isn't really about anything in particular. Don't blame you if you didn't really read it; it's mostly just a "hello" to my former community and a little trip down nostalgia boulevard.
