Why the Wolf Follows the RavenAadyo was a young man when it happened. When his elder brother sent him into the fields to check on the crops. Thinking this was just another of his chores, Aadyo paid it no mind.
Had he paid a little more attention he would have noticed that this was not his families field, but rather one that was forbiddion to enter, do to the monsterous wolf that lived in the forest on the otherside.
The wolf was a son of The Night, and it kept away from the village on a truce that none of the villgers entered the Field.
Of course, Fearing that someone may accidently enter the field, the Mayor told the villgers it was forbiddion, that it had become a Monument to a fallen hero, and was now considered Holy ground. Many of the child did not know why the field was forbiddion, only that it was.
So it was bound to happen someday. Someone would enter the field. Either a child on a dare to prove himself, or by simple accident.
Char Ref--'Tori'Name: ???? "Tori"
Age: I don't really know, Teenish? It's hard to tell in an anime.
Base: Toushirou- Bleach.
Rank: Sietye- basically there are only like 3 r 4 ranks above her. There are a limited number of these just not sure how many.
Gender: Female. (Though it's not excatly obvious, she is sometimes confused for a boy.)
Loose long sleeved black( silver markings on the cuffs.) and similar pants with flared bottoms. (again with markings on the bottom.) I really don't know how to describe the next bit but here goes:
i don't really want to say a vest( beccause it doesn't really close..) but it's the closest thing i can think of, that's kind of off white.
Weapon: a Katana? (i think that's the sword i'm thinking of.) it's actually kind of plain, but it suits her personality as such, seeing as she's not really a person who takes sides.
Tori doesn't really take sides, she has her own goals, and
Without Zion Hydromel the program would have been a complete failure. Without the 'z' gene the blueprints would have never been stable. Without the mutation that took that young man's life we may have been saved.
The bell startled a boy with blood red hair out of his sleep. He turned glaring Blue eyes on the said ringer and it died with a choked noise. Then sighed. He shouldn't have done that. He really shouldn't have. But Damnit he's been sleeping! Him! So he got a little miffed when his rare sleep was interrupted.
"Gaeraa?" A voice asked him. "Something bugging you or what?"
"I had been sleeping." Gaeraa grumbled, Rian got an 'oh-okay' look. "But now it's time for class, isn't it?"
"Yeah." Rian, the one he was talking too said from where she was leaning against a wall. "May as well go right? Try to be normal?"
"I'm surprised anyone of us even knows what it means."
"Does anyone really know what it means? Human? Whatever the hell
FTLOABTZaari's head hit the wall with enough force to blur the child's vision. There was no pain. Though Zaari could feel fresh blood sliding down his other wise pale cheek. Zaari had long sense lost much of the feeling in his body, though 'His' grip was threatening to pull out Zaari's hair. The pain would return on the marrow but for now that didn't matter.
'He' was yelling again. But Zaari's hearing has sense been muffled and Zaari himself doesn't care. He knows what's going to happen next even before the blade flashes. Before new pain make's Zaari's already broken mind reel. Another day. Another night. Another cut.
'He' hates himself and takes it out on the child given to him. Zaari can't remember what he did this time. A young mind is fragile at best and Zaari knows there's something wrong with his. It's shattered at 'his' hands far too many times and with each new occasion another piece is lost.
Oh. Now Zaari remembers. Today is the day 'He' lost his wife. Before Zaari's life got really
FTLOAB- CH.3Lamont seems to have found what he was looking for. Balthier has to admit he's curious. What would a boy his age want with Magi cite? But he has other problems. While to be honest he doesn't really care much about Zaari, caring took far too much effort and he doesn't want to apply it. But there was something decidedly off about the boy.
Asking would be the high point of rude. And Balthier had not been raised to be rude…then again…Balthier had been raised to be an upstanding member of the Arcadian empire, a judge and to help his father with his work.
And where was he now? A Skye pirate with a crazed Bangaa following at his reels. Rude? No, to the point. But he didn't have to get anyone else's attention. Besides, Zaari…was an interesting case to be certain…and one that was best handled with care… Balthier has the worst feeling he knows why.
Zaari jumps like he's been struck, but doesn't stop rubbing his arm. That's irritating but people have to have to calm themselves
