Hello everyone ~!
This page has pretty much been so nostalgic to me since this account is 5 years old...omg I remember being in 5th grade going into middle school when I first made this account now I'm about to become a junior in high school ( Its so mind-blowing istg ). It's honestly weird how much I've changed in these past 5 years and I look back on my old drawings and old journal posts and think to myself...
"was I honestly this cringey?"
I was so winx club obsessed and my grammar skills on here weren't the best because I did think it would've mattered since I was on the internet I still remember my old friends on here I feel like they wouldn't really remember me tbh and all the old artists that I admired so dearly when I was young and new to Deviantart. It's so weird how my account has developed from winx club to anime to kpop and now just a mix of everything oh my lord I was a mess . And don't get me started on the fact that when I first came on this here, I literally posted artwork that wasn't made by me because I thought this site was like Photobucket. When I always came and would post my art here, it always felt like an escape to me from reality ( I know, it sounds so cliche and what a regular middle schooler would say when they go through puberty ), I always felt like I belonged on here and how it was a safe space considering how my family relations weren't that good at the time and I had no other creative outlet since even my own art teacher doubted my skills that she wouldn't even let me join the barest basic of art competitions. Whenever someone would post a comment or even just fav one of my artworks at the time...it meant the world to me since I was just using Paint tool sai and the earliest art program I used....Paint.net shudders ( NOTE: I'm not saying that when other people use Paint.net that they are bad.I'm saying when I used it back then; it was plain awful ). And then I moved on to paint tool sai which made my works...better? I would use that term very loosely.... sometimes I wonder why all of you even followed me considering how cringe-worthy my art was at 2012-2013 which was practically the winx club phase of this account. The anime/kpop phase of this account would probably be 2014-2016 and then after that I died from the DeviantArt community, I still kind of lurk around and deep inside of me...still wanna make my main winx club oc the one and only ANGELICA LOL ( the earlier version of her was practically just a self-insert of my being a very cool winx club character back then omg end me ). I've seen all my friends come and go on this website and slightly keep searching for the ones that disappeared without a trace but its a bittersweet end. I know be coming here randomly isn't gonna mean anything to some people but to my 133 watchers that have seen me grow as an artist and has went through all the heart wrenching cringe of my art....thank you. Ya'll kind of gave me that drive to pursue drawing and art in general, it gave me a push to be better and to be the type of person to always think of others to be very honest. So thanks...to all of you... <3
