Great art. I like that you don't seem to have a biased perspective. Have you ever considered contacting the VFW, AmVets etc?

Do you mean presenting my art to these organizations?

I am currently working on an art piece for our Naval Reserves, it will be the USS Enterpise at Midway.

Yes that's what I was referring too. Glad to see that you're way ahead of the curve. Too many think if you remember the actions of the people who served or create remembrances such as you do that you are somehow a warmongering barbarian. They fail to see how they benefit from the self sacrifice and courage of those people. I think you have shown this from both sides of the picture. I remember watching the CBS coverage of the D-Day 60th anniversary and noted how a US and German soldier who had fought on the same beach met and embraced. They weren't enemies, they were survivors. I served in some tight places [USMC] and those are the only real 'winners'.
Thank you for the great work. All of it not only those I've been discussing. I wish my dad was still with us as he would love your paintings of trains.

My dad was a pilot during WW2 and two uncles served in the army one landing at D-Day the other was captain in the OSS. From them, they gave me some insight about war.

They never bragged about their accomplishment, they always seemed humble and it was about doing their jobs getting back home. They respected the enemy and told me they just protected their homeland and families as they would have done.

My dad always encouraged my artwork and all my military artwork is historically researched.

Thanks for your service. Cheers.

I hope that they are still with you. Please give them the regards of a lowly Nam mud Marine. I made some hot zone insertions but never had to assault a defended beach. Serve with some who did against the Japanese. Great Marines all.
Lost three uncles on my mom's side in the Pacific, which may have gave me my desire to be a Marine, and my dad's younger brother.
Again thank you for you art.
