I'm still studying hyperbolic geometry...
Which caused me to unexpectedly gain a level in mathematics
This one started as another test-render to find a good use for a new plugin I was working on
Now what you see here makes use of at least three unreleased plugins
although most of the effects can be achieved by linking several more-or-less basic xforms 
(2012 update)
Re-rendered in 1920x1200, you can use it as a full HD wallpaper now
Also, I managed to clean some nasty artifacts here using ~zy0rg's "smartcrop" plugin, which seems like was made exactly for this
