Added some details to my EDGE model, like the tension plate on the bottom, sustain block, arm locker stud, pivot blade. I also revisited many details of the saddles ad body...

Almost complete :)

Yes, if I remember correctly it was rendered in Hypershot (or in Keyshot but at the time they were basically the same package ;) ) Thank you for the comment, I did not mention it in the description but it was modeled in Pro/ENGINEER...

No no, the Edge is under FL patent, you can check it out on the Ibanez website. I don't know if they set free of the patent with latest Edge bridges or with the ZR though...

hmmm...your probably right...i just know that on one of my kramers it says Kramer, instead of patent pending. And i thought i had seen it on an rg before. Guess im gonna have to go play one tomorrow.

Probably Kramer did not need to put "licensed" notes because, if I remember right, it is one of the firm that can actually "produce" Floyd Rose bridges, so no need to have a license, I think they have a different agreement with FR...

right, they had the german made schaller(spelling?) that were in agreement with Kramer guitars. Eddie Van Halen sure had some state of the art stuff.
