Zdarloch Sejrbank Map

I joined HaRPG in 2014... and I never drew my stable map :I
Shame, oh shame.

So I started drawing this the other day - the offical Map of Zdarloch. No longer will I have to rely on the ugly MS Paint map I doodled up last year, hahaha :'D  
And was this worth three years of waiting?
...absolutely not. One quick gaze upon that map should inform that Zdarloch. is. actually. tiny.

Y'all are rolling in here with your grand estates with tons of fabulous facilities, and I present this glorified hen house and dare call it a stable?

Oh well... this is for the sake of realism, I suppose. Since the Zdarloch owners are 'just' a nurse and a vet without a significant family fortune to back them it wouldn't make much sense for them to be able to afford a grand estate, now would it?   ...they try to play in the big kids' sandbox anyway though, lol. They wouldn't be able to do that if it weren't for Connor's family ^^'

L O C A T I O N:
Somewhere in Northern Zealand, Denmark. The village of Søndre Svimmelev is fictional  


B U I L D I N G S:

B1: Main residence + garage
This is the place the owners Annie and Andy (and Klara, their 4-year old daughter) call their home. It's a quirky, roomy old place with lots of charming details and a SPIRE! It has some of the appearance of a castle that was never allowed to grow into its full size, and thus earned the apt nickname 'bonzai castle'.
There are a few guest rooms for visitors.
The garage holds bikes and two cars - belonging to Annie and Andy. of course. Annie drives a silver Opel Astra and Andy a black BMW (and yes, he's a jerk in traffic).


B2: Ye House of Crap (storage)
...so Azaria calls it, anyway. This long building is used to store machines, jumps, tools, paint... anything that needs storing. That includes Azaria's most prized possession; her Lotus Super 7 which she refers to simply as 'the Sevener'. This snazzy car is stabled for most of the year because the weather in Denmark doesn't allow many days a year for showing off such vehicles. Still, she pampers over it year-round even if she only drives it in summertime.


B3: The Stable
This is where the horses are stored! Big surprise, I know. The stable building has capacity for 8 horses, of which 6 stalls are currently in use. The remaining 2 can be used by visitors bringing horses in for stays at Zdarloch. When Zdarloch hosts events, though, the visitors are not kept here - heated tent stalls are put up in one of the large paddocks. So it usually happens at horse shows anyway. 
A tack and fodder room is also found in this building.


B4: The lounge/Azaria's crib
Haha, tricked you! This is actually the same building.
The ground floor holds a small kitchen/lounge area for the Zdarloch folks to reside in when they need to chill and/or gossip. Shh, you didn't hear that. Upstairs on the 1st floor is Azaria's residence - she is the only one of the Zdarloch employees who lives at the facility. I forgot to draw her rooftop terrace :I


B5: The indoor arena
The indoor arena is new - when I joined the game in 2014 Zdarloch didn't have one, lol. Poor kids forced to ride in the rain... The construction began following a VERY succesful 1st showing season. It was a big investment, but quite worth it - there is a lounge area in one end of the building where one can observe the arena from behind a drink.

F1: The outdoor arena
It's pretty massive. It's used for both show jumping and dressage and is also well-suited for hosting competitions. The free-jumping/liberty classes of grading shows are often held here.


F2: Parking space
Ample space for not-so-many cars. Only Connor and Azaria drive here. That black Mercedes you see thar? That's Con's precious fiver. Yep, the one he crashed :'I
Azaria's other car should have been here too, wonder where she is...


F3: Dirt paddocks
Behold ye dirt paddocks! 


F4/F5: Stallion / mare main paddocks
They can be divided into smaller sections if need be, but most of the time they are kept open. 



L A N D M A R K S

L1: The lake
...it's more a pond, really. It lies at the bottom of the hill in Annie and Andy's private garden, so it's not accessible unless you get invited ^^
It looks pretty and serene, but it's a regular nightmare in wintertime because the frogs are performing their special music all night. Oh joy
...oh right, and you gotta keep lil Klara under close surveillance at all times when she's in the garden. She's not allowed near the lake, obviously. 


L2: The terrace
If you visit Zdarloch in summertime, you can't escape a dinner invitation at THE TERRACE. ...really though, it's pretty nice. All the Zdarloch kids like to dine together every so often on those lazy saturdays, and the terrace is the best spot. Just don't fall down the stairs.


L3: The BIG ASS TREE
It's a Big Tree. It stands guard next to the outdoor arena. Rumour has it that if the Big-Ass Tree ever were to wither and die, Zdarloch would perish with it... ..so Azaria claims.


L4: The Party Tree / Dido's Watch Spot
Consider it a little sister to the Big Ass Tree - the party tree is thus named because in case of the holiday season it gets blinged up with light chains, and in case of summer parties... it also gets blinged up with light chains. It gets blinged up a lot.
It's also Dido the dog's preferred place to lie lazily about. She keeps track of everything from here. Watching from the shadows.


L5: The forest
It's a forest You can go on trail rides here. It's a pretty massive forest, though, so don't get lost.


L6: The Driveway
Oohohohooo, I bet a lot of you remember drawing this for Zlesdin grading shows.... The tree-lined driveway is pretty much a Zdarloch symbol. All horse refs have this as their backdrop ^^ 


L7: The Black Gate of Mordor Gate
It's a gate. It has a design that I'm too lazy to have designed yet, yay


L8: Trails
Another trail ride - this one takes you to the place Kaisa crashed with Zdrasti :')



THERE WE GO, I THINK THIS CONCLUDES IT ALL?
