Mostly done for female anatomy practise. I can still fix it, if there is something odd.
Plus some concept designs as to what Lord Khran-Av'ees's palace decorations look like.

Hiid is from my fantasy novel The Curse of Rha-kan'Ocka.

Such a great pose...reminds me an 'Old Master'......cant think who off hand......perhaps Ingres or a bit Rembrant.I love the dangling charm details.
I think Ill watch for more of your Potter and Lord Khran-Av'ees world!!

Thanks. :) Can't recall names right now either, but I'd say this is a pretty common pose in the old works. Was vaguely inspired by a few pics in a Uffizi Gallery book I have somewhere in my shelf.

I am absolutely mesmerized. Such a beautiful picture! (I know I begin to sound repetitive, but would you rather I lied and told you it was terrible? I thought not.) The oriental colouring, the magnificent jewellery, the handsome textiles, the little decorations of the curtain... I was absolutely stunned how clever and perfect addition to the picture the curtain jewellery was! And Hiid... what can I say? So beautiful. Her skin looks perfect, and what I love most are her eyes... They seem to be almost glowing in the semi-darkness of the room, and the black charocal she's wearing only enhances that effect. The book looks interesting, too. What's its title? How To Act Like A Proper Wife For An Evil and Insane Warlord?

Nice lamp, by the way. I want one, too. :)

Beautiful job on the female anatomy there! Probably the best you've done so far. I really love how you colored the skin and her hair is fabulous. I like the interior designs in Khran's palace, very lovely, yet practical for a palace setting. Looks comfortable... oh, and the lamp totally rocks. :D

Thanks. :) This was a difficult piece, but I like the outcome also.
Heh, and wouldn't mind owning that furniture myself. :D

Holy moly, your colours are really sharp in this one!!!! <3
Her outfit is SO awesome. And the whole room is SO what I want my bedroom to look like.
Great job with all the beads and details!

Thanks. :D I wouldn't mind decorating my bedroom like that also, that is, if I had the money and a palace to match the extravaganza. XD But it's castles in clouds for an euroless student.

I can't complain about anatomy - and as usual, your patience for detail and talent for golden decorative thingies is impressive and enviable. Not to mention the unique colour scheme. If I knew how to suggest stuff for daily deviations I'd suggest this one.

Thanks! Well, glad to hear if the anatomy looks natural. It's been long and tedious practise for me to get the female body right. Somehow I find it far more difficult than the male equivalent.

I want a lamp like that! Awsome job. I like the everyday simplicity of it. Nothing adventurous or snogging, just relaxing. And the shading on the skin is so realistic!

Thanks. :) Skin is a difficult element to shade, 's another particular I wanted to practise here.

I think the best thing about your "complete" works is that all the detail doesn't detract from the concept--in fact, it makes the characters and situations _believable_.

As for anatomy nit-picks? Watch that ribcage! Though it's not worth changing anything over I don't think. Good job!

Thanks. I'll watch the ribcages. And, well, after studying the works of umpteen artists, I've noticed that the background has quite a lot of importance regarding the whole layout of the picture. Naturally rooms have a pletora of details in them. Sometimes I even like to concentrate more on the setting than the foreground elements.
