What sort of career did you start? :)
I learned a new skill set as well, and I'm doing automating/system integrations these days. Been traveling a fair bit over the past years, quite a lot of it due to a long-distance relationship. Cool that you've managed to maintain an interest in a long-term fandom. I'm still fond of Gargoyles and got a small surge of re-interest to Harry Potter due to the Fantastic Beasts movies and the mobile game.
Congrats on the relationship, traveling, and new skills! I'm very happy for you!
I'm now a registered nurse working in an operating room. It's pretty fun and very different from what I was doing before. This fall I'm going back to school again for a master's degree in nursing. :)
Thank you! I'm similarly glad you've found a new calling and that you're enjoying it! Good luck with your studies; how long will it take? Are your educational institutions going to open normally in the autumn? Looks like ours will arrange quite a bit of online lectures at least till the end of the year.
The whole degree will be two and a half years, full-time. I'll have two master's degrees by the end of it, since I already have one in psychology. :)
My entire first year will be online, then after that it'll be a sort-of hybrid thing.
Sounds great, good luck! It's becoming more common these days that one'll have to learn a new profession about every ten years or so, or at least upgrade one's skill set (mine was with the help of free online courses and labs).
