Hiid from The Curse of Rha-kan'Ocka. Concept stuff.

Edit: Redrew the legs entirely. I don't know how to fix this any more, so further advice is welcome. Probably tried to draw a pose too difficult for my skill. But I'm not going to learn anything if I don't try out new stuff. X|
May take a while to reload.

Hiid . . . aww, she seems a little sad, a little contemplative, moderately disgusted . . . I enjoy seeing your linework, and in browsing the gallery tonight, how it's evolved. :D

Hmm. Something that leaps out to me as not-quite-right is the size of her lower ribcage, just below her metal-bra-thingy. It seems a little small for her shoulders.

Ah! Not very lady-like pose, this one, is it? Not elegant and NOT CLICÉ! Not Mary-Sue at all. Me likes.

She looks miserable though. Or then she's just cursing Khran to the deepest hell in her mind. Well, she does look a bit bored and dissatisfied with her life, doesn't she?

I like her hair. And the foot (on the front) is awesomely made. Perfect anatomy.

She's lovely! You know, I have a whole new respect for you, since you can do all this detail stuff so beautifully. Been trying some insane detailwork myself and, I can say from experience, it's really hard! Perhaps the legs look a bit off here, but that's a given. The picture as a whole is marvelous! :)

Well, I used photo reference when I started repairing the legs (which I originally didn't). I really don't know what to do to them anymore, though.
I don't find the details that hard actually. Once you get the underlying pose and structure right, the garments and whatnot are not that difficult to draw upon the skeleton structure. Just time-consuming. My problem is often that I screw up the pose or something and have to digitally redraw the dratted itty bitty scrawlings all over again. XP

I draw everything into a fairly large size (A3 and up), so there's also a lot of blank space to be filled.

Yeah, she's supposed to be sort of both sad and brooding. Just drawing out some scenes to get the feel of the following story.

You're welcome ^^

*grins* Yah, that's always fun ^^ Of course, I never get around to either A) writing the story, or B) drawing the scene.

I suck >.>;

Beautiful drawing and the detail in the clothing is amazing! I can't even draw straws so please take this for what it is worth...but to me there seems to be something odd about her legs, they seem too short when compared to the length of her torso and curve of her hips especially since the place she is sitting looks fairly shallow. The right leg and foot look particularly odd because the muscle of the calf ends so high above the ankle that the portion between the muscle and the ankle looks like a bone or something and the position/shape of the foot seem a bit odd as well. Other than that it is truly an awesome drawing!

Thanks for the input, helps me to learn with these things. I repaired her legs quite a lot from what they were originally.

I am so glad you replied because I had forgotten to "favorite" the pic and couldn't find it and because I was kinda worried I'd offended you which wasn't my intent at all. Legs look much better especially the right one! Beautiful drawing!

Definitely not offended. I really appreciate constructive criticism, since I don't always notice my own mistakes. :)
If you couldn't find this, assume the reason might've been that I had this pulled off to the devstorage while I was fixing it.

Anyway, thanks!
