OMG, I love your take on this absolutely gorgeous yet obscure character.
I discovered her through Dark Natasha's rendition of her, which I bought as a print at Anthrocon one year, and is proudly displayed framed on my wall. It seems that despite being obscure and the webcomic she's from not being finished, she's amassed a small following and happy to be part of it!
It's funny; fandoms have always have infighting but it was buried more. Everyone just THINKS it's a recent phenomenon because of social media!
I'm of the old guard, was on the usenet groups back in the mid-90s, etc.. it was pretty crazy. The only thing I will say is that people seemed less... mean back then. The drama was there but it was a bit more civilized.
