Fox pulled his car up next to the towering tree house. The sight was bitter sweet, and saddening; this had been Vee’s prison for seven, long years. Despite the foul memories, Fox could see the light at the end of the long, dark tunnel; a light that was bright, and bluish in hue. The vulpine male inhaled the scents of autumn that drifted around the area, and exited his car. He carefully climbed the ladder. He paused at the door to gather the courage he had within himself.
