Emi thankfully stopped chewing on my cacti once I got her two pots of cat grass. Crisis averted!
Ever experienced your own pet try and eat something ridiculous? <_<

I'm just as surprised as you are that she chewed on the cactus. My next move would have been a cat-sized Venus Fly Trap.

O_O I would be in a panic if my cat ate part of a cactus.

I think Emi is like a goat when it's "Time to eat things with thorns!" (How they can eat those things without any problem?).

Anyway, Why don't you try with Cat Grass?

My cat once started licking the butter from a slice of buttered bread (which was on the table, just saying). My mom cut out the bit he had licked and - nothing to lose - gave him it. Well… He ate the bread. ._.

Had a black cat who would bite the heads off my Venus flytraps. It was an interesting experience with Salem when it came to trying to raise plants. If he doesn't bite them, he'll knock them down, effectively killing them by spreading dirt and ripping the plant up at the roots.

Not plants, but we do have a dog that snaps at insects...anything with a stinger actually...bees of all kinds, wasps, hornets.

Yes, we had a cat that ate raisins at one point and would only drink water if she first dipped her paw in and licked it off.

Aren't raisins poisonous to cats?

Oh my! I wasn't aware of that. Thankfully she only did it the one time iirc, and she lived to the ripe ol' age of 18.

A good lesson for pet owners: Look up on what they can eat before you start giving them random snacks.

A bit off topic but there are some brands of peanut butter that are lethal to dogs.

One time I used rose scented body wash on my legs, and my cat loves the smell of flowers, she started biting and licking my legs. >.> It was amusing, she wasn't hurting me though, she doesn't bite hard on me unless I rub her stomach hard.

My last dog had an obsession with chewing plants in the garden to pieces.  She made me so mad when she shredded my ephedra plant, and terrified my mother and I when she tore up our peppers and eggplants.

My sister had a cat that ate an entire mini-pumpkin that she was keeping as a Halloween decoration.  Granted, it was a strange cat to begin with, what with having two colors of eyes.
