A Prickly Problem by Zombiesmile A Prickly Problem by Zombiesmile
Emi thankfully stopped chewing on my cacti once I got her two pots of cat grass. Crisis averted!
Ever experienced your own pet try and eat something ridiculous? <_<

We've once found two vampire-like bite marks in the leaves of a plant that's ... not palatable (or good to eat) for cats. Apparently the cat thought the same, but only after trying.

This sounds like my cat Faye, every time I turn around she is getting into the house plants. xD
I'm going to try to get cat grass and see if that will stop her from getting into the plants.

Mine love brushing too :) But cactus is better ;) And I have lot of citrus trees which I grown from seeds ( from pomelo fruit, grapefruit and orange) and they don't eat them. But most of my cats living indoor and outdoor (except one Tigress) so they have plenty of grass, I'm living in village after all

My cat ate so many pipecleaners and hairties once that we had to take him to the vet to get them removed from his stomach. Did he learn his lesson? Nope. :XD:

One time, i got a new cat. He was only 3 month old, but he wasn't well fed, so we fed him. Slowly he fell in love with cheese, but we didn't care. But one day i was sitting at my computer drawing and what not, and i look over to see him try to eat a piece of toast i left out, so i went "AWW" and proceed to gently push him off, and throw away the toast. (I still have him with me now :D But he can't eat cheese anymore, or drink milk, 'cause he's starting to get crystals. He gettin' old (8 yrs), but he has the face of kitten still (What i like to call Kitten Face Syndrome).

Well I once found a half lizard in the garden. But it was a pretty big one. I think it was an eastern green lizard, which is usually about 30-35 cm long. Other than that, she only catches the birds. I have yet to seen her eating the plants, and I really hope it stays that way.

Reminds me of when a classmate back in middle school dog ate her homework, so she came to school with the pieces in a ziplock bag, and you can see the salvia in it. Our teacher let her passed the homework because she was not touching that bag XD

Lol. It must be hard keeping plants alive. :) My cat has never tried eating a plant, but he chews on pens and pencils and sometimes cords. He also likes to rip up newspaper when he can get it. :P
