The character and some details are very well done, but I've got to say that compared to that the rest is, no offense, crap. Still, it's probably better then my backgrounds (if I would actually try making them xD)

I do have some tips.
Try shading the character. It gives a lot of depth.
Also, I would start out with just a rough sketch of what you want to do. Then work it out and slowly work your way through the picture. Once you've got your sketch I would advice finishing the character first though, because that's the most important part of it.
I don't know if you've got a scanner or not. But try making a sketch with pencil. You can erase all you want and start over easily. Scan (or take a picture of) it and work it out on the pc. Or don't scan it and just work it out with whatever you want to work it out with.

I will have to experiment with shading techniques, I am starting to drawing non-digital means;again. I went through this process:
1. Find Decent Screen-shot In Library
2. Sketch From Reference
3. Begin Coloring
4. Stopped
I am not so good at shading, will try experimenting with cell-shading.
Thank You, XinHun
ps How did you find the picture so fast, I _just_ uploaded it?

Shading, just like drawing as a whole, is just a matter of practice. No talent or whatever. Pure practice. I have little talent, but I worked my ass of these last 2 years, and you can look at my gallery where it has brought me.

I found your picture by pressing the 'search' button at the top of the site. It shows the newest uploads. (or most popular, but I always look for newest, so that I can find more unknown artists. And sometimes I just feel like helping someone like you out where I can, if I can. My experience and knowledge is still very limited.)

Ah, just a matter of getting used. Just do it a lot and you'll have it in no time.

Gonna watch you too, curious as to how you work it all out :3

I will have to dig or redo the whole picture to do it on this one, will look around though.

I have a feeling your going to turn into a good critic of my work, meaning you'll help me improve.
