Hi,

After almost 6 years of working on LEGO games at Travellers Tales, I've decided to move onto new pastures and I've joined the ranks at Pixelbomb games as their new Lead Artist. We are working on a new title, Beyond Flesh and Blood which was greenlit in just 13 days on steams greenlight program, here is a link to the site . This game is filled with all the good stuff; Guns, Robots, Mechs, Rebels, a Futuristic Military, Aliens and plenty of gore, blood and guts. The game is still in it's early stages but we are pushing on strong to get it completed.

Please check out the game on our website and if you like what you see spread the word and like us on facebook

If you have any comments then please leave a message on the forum

It would be great to hear your thoughts.

Hey,

I just want to start by saying 'sorry' to everyone who has kindly posted comments, faved, and Dev watching as I've been pretty lazy of late and not done much with my deviant art page, I will try and get round to replying to people soon.

This is probably again too late but if you haven't seen 'The Thing' prequel and really enjoyed the John Carpenter version then I highly recommend that you watch it. The Carpenter version is one of my favourite films and I was really worried that this one would be a massive let down but I was totally surprised, I thought they had done an amazing job. They managed to keep in all the great tension and they kept very close to all of the reference from the Norwegian base camp in the first film. My only suggestion is not to watch any of the trailers as they do contain spoilers.

On another note, my amazingly talented friend :iconbakenekoya: has started selling some of her fantastic models on her etsy page www.etsy.com/shop/Bakenekoya?r… . If you like cats then I would really recommend you check it out. I'm hopefully posting some of the images from my new comic that's in the middle of production which Kessen-Chu will kindly be making some character models and she has already made this stunning mask from the comic fav.me/d3hsv5l and kessen-chu.deviantart.com/art/…. So please watch this space for more.

Thanks for everyone who has faved, commented, or watched my work and have a Merry Christmas.

Hey everyone,

Yeah sorry for the real late replies I've been kinda tied up these days with work and trying to get some of my comic ideas started and off the ground, but I'm hopefully gonna get round to replying to everyones messages. sorry if some of them are a bit brief but I'm pretty tired at the mo and my brains running a little dry.

Well I'm off to the grave now to get some sleep but I'll hopefully have some new stuff up real soon.

Cheers for all the ace support and sorry again for the late replies

Hey everyone!

After a really long time away from dev art I'm back. I've just been settling into my new job at Traveller's Tales the guys who make the LEGO computer games, I got a job as a junior environment artist which is extremely ace, it feels great to get my teeth stuck into something.

Even though I've not posted anything in a while I've still been reading all the ace comments people have been leaving which I'm extremely greatful for and a big thanks to you all. I'm sorry for the lateness but I'll try and get round to replying to them all.

Thanks

Hey everyone,

As you can probably guess from the journie title, it's my birthday. I'm 25 today. Nothings changed apart from my life's now one year shorter and the days will only pass faster, so i think it's time to pull my finger out and get on with it. I've got a crap load of things I wanna get done, like getting a job in the games industry, finally get the comics I'm working on off the ground and illustrated, and become more involved with my tai chi. So from here on I'm no longer gonna sit on my fat ass and waste away the days, now is the time for me to get pro active and finally achieve something cool.

On another point I have found the best anime/manga ever, my fav anime used to be Full Metal Alchemist, but now a new anime has taken center stage, D GRAY MAN!!!

If you like anime and haven't heard of it, I strongly recommend you watch it. It starts off a little weak as most animes do, but once you get into it the action just keeps coming, even in the filler section. The characters in it are just the best. Example, Arystar Krory, my favourite character, starts off as an agoraphobic vampire who gets ridiculously hard (in strength) when he kills akuma. I'm a little late on the band wagon for mentioning this as most people probably have heard of it, but I just got up to date with the anime and felt it was so immense that it needed a mention.

I thought I'd best update this, seen as I've been back from Japan for over a month now, haha. It is one hell of a country, I'm gonna post some photos soon (I'm so lazy).

I just a few things to comment on, I watched the new Iron Man film the other night and as most people have been commenting, it's a bloody good film. John Favreau is one hell of a director. To have such a challenge ahead of him as iron man, I mean it needs some seriously good CG, and low and behold he pulls out one of the best iron man comic artists, Adi Granov, to do the concept art and an immense team of CG artists out of his magic director's hat. And to get such a great cast, that all fit there parts so well.

If you haven't seen it yet then get your ass to the cinema.

Also it's gonna be my birthday soon, 25 years old, jeez come to think of it that's quarter of a century. Time to stop thinking like that.

Also I'd just like to thank all the people who have featured me on their DA pages, and everyone who has been watching my DA page and supporting me.

I'm gonna stop now, as the sudden realisation of my age has made me drift off into madness.

Man christmas was ace, I got to chill out play tons of Halo 3 and eat a crap load of food, but  now it's time to stop the vegetating and get my ass into gear.

If anyone out there is having some major uninspiring artist block then I highly suggest you get a copy of Marko Djurdjevic's dvd, from Massive Black www.createspace.com/Store/Show…. I got it for christmas and after watching it I was not only blown away by his amazing skill but I found myself itching to draw.

Hope you all have a great new year

Hey everyone, I haven't updated my journal in a while, so I thought I'd post up my general life.

The only major things I've done really is go to the cinema, read comics and paint, apart from that my life pretty much sucks at the moment. (I'm kinda running out of worldly inspirations)

Yeh the manga I've just recently finished was 'DeathNote', a real good read, but it had one hell of a crap ending! I was totally buzzed by the end of Issue 11, however by the end of issue 12 I lost all faith in life. What the HELL happened?!

As there are terrible things in life there are also those amazing gems of greatness. I recently saw the trailer for '30 Days of Night' One hell of a comic and from the looks of things it's gonna be one hell of a film. Also I've been checking out the latest game trailers and there are some sweet games coming out at the end of the year, one of my main buzzes is the 1st person horro shooter, Clive Barker's Jericho. WOW. This game is gonna be good, Silent hill meets Da'Vinci Code meets Doom, I s'ppose that says it all, if not go check out the site: www.codemasters.co.uk/jericho

Anyways that's me all ranted out for a while.

Hey everyone, never really written a journal before (not too great with words I suppose). Anyways, for anyone who is at all interested I'll be moving back home with my parents for a temporary period, until I can get myself back on my feet (university kinda drained all the independence outta me), and earn some money. Getting to the point I'll be offline until I can get a chance to get ahold of broadband, I'll be posting a couple more images before I dissappear, (like the accompanying picture to 'blood claw' www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…
)

Okay, well I'm hoping to be back in a month or two.

Good luck to everyone, and keep up the great work.
