So, I got one of my old pics up. I didn't want to do anything to fancy to it . . . . . so I got help to keep me from going overboard. Anyway, I wanted to share the game that has caught my fascination with you guys, and, if it goes well enough. use the my little pony mod that I found to the same ends.
Anyway, Every once in a while, I will post up pages from a long forgotten Dwarf, known in the history books as Mad Vickshothra (thank you tea-sempai for the name so many years back). He was the most un-Dwarfy of Dwarfs, to the point of even shaving off his bead in his most distressful moments. I just recently uncovered a part of his diary written in a toung that is no longer used (like Latan or something) and will try to piece together the true history of what happened in Lolumkacoth, which , when translated, comes out to be Wood Confined. From what I can tell, he wanted to be a human, though, he never did say it himself. But what do I know, I just have a minor in Observational psychology. (is that an actual thing?)

I do have the first few pages of this text translated and. . . . well, I will just let you read it for yourself
Lead Overseer's log
24th Galena Year 90
Today is a day when a dwarf proves how dwarfy he really is. What I plan on doing in that regard is completely undwarfy. I will not strike earth. I will not go down like every other Dwarf fortress. I am rising to the heavens themselves! So, I gathered seven of the finest outdoors dwarfs I could find. They hated my plan, but there were other, less reasonably minded dwarfs, that were willing to help. They were a rag tag bunch, but they will do.
15th Limestone Year 90
I made the journey to the king, and told him my idea. I don't think he heard me right. Or maybe he thought I would fail or go underground for safety. I got his blessings and promise for the supplies either way, so I can at least get started. Anyway, when I got back, the others said that they will teach me how to do some of the basic things like wood cutting, fishing, and carpentry. I am looking forward to that.
17th Moodstone Year 90
The day has arrived. We were summoned by the king, supplies given to us in full. He said that we aren't to look in the wagon until we reach our goal, which makes me suspicious.
Note to self: sell contents of the wagon for new supplies.
20th Moodstone Year 90
As soon as we reached into town, we got a sneak peak at what we had. I was thoroughly pissed. He gave us no axes, ten picks, and piles upon piles of stone blocks. I told him that all we needed were some food, booze, axes, and wood. We fixed the problem though. Seems like he made a mistake and gave us a pick that was worth thousands of dwarf bucks, so we sold it and the rest of the useless junk for what we really needed. Had some money left over so we bought some live stalks, hunting animals, bolts, a crossbow (left mine with my son.), and some extra food and booze. Was even able to afford an extra wagon, can you believe that? Well, its nearly time to set off again, Feb is nearly done checking the supplies, you wouldn't know that he had some skill as a bookkeep by looking at him. I need to find out more about these men and women.
