EscaPIG 1.3. contest and a watcher giveaway

Helloooo all you awesome people~
I have been wanting to do a points giveaway here for soooo long already, but I've been shifting towards working on EscaPIG more than my art projects here... sooo I though it would be nice to make the pot a little bit bigger and include in some sort of contest too~

So in short I will be giving out 1000 in total and a little bit of something extra for the contest participants ^w^

EscaPIG fan art contest

Make an art piece related to the game, submit it to dA and include a text saying it's for EscaPIG Fan Art contest and linking this journal. That's it! All art mediums are welcome. Multiple submissions are welcome, but only your best (by the judges) can win. You should also comment the work in the comment section of this journal, but alternatively you can note me with your submission(s). ^v^

The contest will end 15th of December (no more submissions on this day and the judging will begin) so you will have about two months time for participation if you wish to do so~ ^w^

You will get bonus points in judging from these three categories:
positiveness - for example, success for the main character
winter holiday - as small as a santa's helper peeking around the corner as big as the whole piece based on winter wonderland full of pretty lights and snowy fields, the choice is yours (and so are the bonus points lol xD)
relativeness to the game - this is probably best explained via EscaPIG's new main menu background since it's directly from the start of the game but everything is cranked higher (simply put) when rendering since it doesn't affect the fluidity of the gameplay ^^



Now I'm not saying it needs to be as straight out of the game as this example, all I'm saying is that there are details and story to the game and if you manage to capture and show some of this in your work the bonus points from this category are yours ^-^'

Prizes and judging

As for the prizes currently*
1st place - 500
2nd place - 250
3rd place - 150
TOP 5 - will be featured in the game's main menu on the next version after the winners are announced
TOP 10 - will be featured in a journal announcing the winners


I will use couple IRL friends in judging who will not be participating in the contest themselves, even though I would judge by logic I'm afraid knowing people in dA might act as a bias to either subconsciously give them easier win chances OR countering it by thinking like this and giving them harder time in the judging... so anyways, I will not be judging the works, but I will use people I know IRL and can trust.


^{*currently as in these can only go up depending on factors like amount of participants or donations for this cause or anything similar really, I mean because some of my friends have hinted for a possible 'donation' for the contest prizes if I'm going to make this contest, I will edit and give them a shoutout (if they wish) accordingly if this happens :3}

I don't hold too much emphasis on this since the character will be customizable in the game, but if you want to base your work on the original EscaPIG character then this color reference is for you~ ^^
