The Mummy's Power

Right after watching Lisa and Katie graduate from Sacramento State University, Rachael Hawkins goes to her life of Archaeology and make her first discovery. She had made plans to go back to Egypt to discover more about Moses and Rameses. Taking a trip back to Egypt would cause her to get PTSD after her first encounter with Rameses. She is still traumatized by the Ten Plagues of Egypt, almost costing the lives of her and her father. A trip back to Egypt would turn into a wild goose chase, knowing that Prodigium is still out there. A month before leaving for Egypt, the House of Horrors opens a new exhibit to display a mummy by the name of Imhotep.

In Thebes, Egypt, 1290 BC, high priest Imhotep has a love affair with Ankh-es-en-amon, princess of Pharaoh Seti I. Imhotep and Ankh-es-en-amon kill Pharaoh after he discovers their affair. Imhotep flees, while Ankh-es-en-amon kills herself, believing that Imhotep would be able to resurrect her. Imhotep and his priests steal her corpse and travel to Hamunaptra, the city of the dead, but Seti's bodyguards, the Medjai stop the resurrection ritual. Imhotep's priests are all mummified alive, while Imhotep is sentenced to suffer the worst Egyptian curse: the Hom Dai. Resulting in his tongue getting cut out, and buried alive. He is sealed away in a sarcophagus at the feet of a statue of the Egyptian god Anubis and kept under strict surveillance by the Medjai to prevent Imhotep's return.

When Rachael read up on Imhotep, she tries to get to the House of Horrors to prevent the tour guide from reading the "Scroll of Thoth," an ancient life-giving scroll. Unfortunately, she was too late because the scroll had been read and Imhotep had come to life from his sarcophagus. When Imhotep had awakened, he finds himself in a world that he no longer recognizes, seeing the world under the rule of white people, which is not entirely true. When out of nowhere, masked men start shooting up the place, and they kill the tour guide, these masked men are mercenaries working for Prodigium, under the leadership of Vazec.

Vazec pledges service to Imhotep to find the woman who appears to be the reincarnation of Princess Ankh-es-en-amon. Rachael finds herself in a game of "Cat and Mouse" where the cult members are the cats, and she is the mouse. Rachael finds herself at Evangeline's Costume Mansion in Old Sac where she needs a disguise, where it's not too over-the-top. With her disguise, some hardly recognize her, mostly due to the long hair. But Prodigium is everywhere. Rachael is eventually captured by Imhotep, who knows her scent, and Vazec, who knows her face, because of what happened in London.

Rachael is taken hostage and finds herself at Sac State University, surrounded by members of Prodigium. Imhotep plans to sacrifice Rachael to become the new host for Princess Ankh-es-en-amon. Before the ritual finishes, which involves Rachael getting stabbed in the heart, and the vessel containing Ankh-es-en-amon's soul is open, Lisa and Katie blind everyone except for Rachael, freeing her, and then making a run for it back to the House of Horrors. Back at the House of Horrors, lies more of what was left in the Imhotep exhibit, including the Scroll of Thoth. Rachael and her friends split up to confuse the cult members. As Rachael breaks into the exhibit, she tries to decipher the scroll to find an off switch. In a little print on the bottom is how to undo the curse and kill the resurrected one. Burn the scroll and nobody from ancient times will never find the scroll ever again, and the curse will be undone. As Rachael tries to light her lighter to burn it, she must shoot cult members who are looking for her and her friends. As she's shooting cult members, she finally gets her lighter working and burns the scroll. Doing this breaks the spell that had given Imhotep his immortality, causing him to crumble to dust. Vazec disappears to make his next move.

Police arrive and ask what happened, and Rachael replies with "A Ritualistic Cult tried to kill me." Later, she receives a voicemail from Tyler Holt to send flowers to Derrick Holloway, for Vazec's next move is to kill anyone defending the hunters. Derrick's parents were the first targets.

In a post-credits scene, Rachael arrives in Brentwood, CA to meet up with Derrick at the funeral to give him the flowers in person as a way of saying "I'm sorry for what happened to your parents." Derrick needed support from his girlfriend, Rebecca. He and Rachael then go on a drive only to find Tyler's yacht and gets the hunters back together to kill the last of Prodigium.
