PROLOGUE — THE CURE THAT WON’T SLEEP

Since London, Abraham Van Helsing has not rested.

Victor Frankenstein’s notes sit open on every surface of his lab—annotated, cross-referenced, expanded. The cure that saved Lawrence Talbot worked. That fact alone has reshaped Van Helsing’s purpose.

What if monsters don’t have to die? What if they can be undone?

This burden was meant for Derrick Holloway. Instead, Van Helsing took it on himself—and went too far to stop now. His new obsession: Vampires.

ACT I — DARK OAKS

Louisiana.

The bayou breathes slowly around a plantation known as Dark Oaks.

A Hungarian nobleman arrives in New Orleans—quiet, elegant, unnervingly calm. He calls himself Count Alucard. He has been invited by Katherine Caldwell, daughter of plantation owner Colonel Caldwell. Katherine has a taste for the macabre, the decayed, the eternal. She is also secretly a member of Prodigium.

Shortly after Alucard’s arrival, the Colonel dies—leukemia ravaging his body until nothing is left.

In his will:

  • Claire Caldwell inherits the money

  • Katherine inherits Dark Oaks

And something far older.

ACT II — MARRIAGE AND IMMORTALITY

Katherine marries Alucard in secret, cutting ties with her former lover Frank Stanley, a man grounded in the living world.

Frank confronts them. He pulls a gun. Shoots Alucard. The bullets pass straight through the Count’s body. They strike Katherine. She falls—apparently dead.

Alucard does not react. Because he knows the truth.

ACT III — THE NAME THAT GIVES IT AWAY

News of strange deaths and disappearances reaches Van Helsing.

He recognizes the signs immediately. He recognizes the name. ALUCARD. Dracula spelled backward.

Van Helsing flies to New Orleans alone.

He does not arrive as a hunter. He arrives as a doctor—believing, against all instinct, that this vampire might be cured. Instead, he is captured.

ACT IV — THE CULT OF BLOOD

Van Helsing awakens in a cage beneath Dark Oaks. Across from him: Frank Stanley. Alive. Terrified.

Above them, Katherine stands—very much alive. She reveals everything. She never loved Frank.

She married Alucard for immortality. And she intends to share it.

Alucard plans to use Prodigium as his breeding ground—turning cultists into an obedient vampire army.

Van Helsing is forced to watch as Frank is bitten. Frank resists. Then gives in.

Katherine admits she has already drunk from him. The bond is sealed.

ACT V — BETRAYAL OF THE BLOOD

Now undead, Frank hears Katherine whisper a truth she never intended Van Helsing to know: Alucard can be destroyed.

His coffin—his daytime sanctuary—must burn.

Frank shares the secret with Van Helsing. Using Victor Frankenstein’s techniques and Van Helsing’s knowledge of vampire physiology, they escape their cages.

They find the coffin. They set it on fire. Dawn rises.

Without sanctuary, Alucard disintegrates in sunlight, screaming as centuries of stolen life collapse into ash.

ACT VI — THE BATTLE AT DARK OAKS

Alucard’s death does not end the nightmare. Vampire cultists swarm the plantation—Prodigium loyalists who have already fed. The fight is vicious and close. Blood sprays. Fangs tear.

Van Helsing fights not as a scholar—but as a man who has lost too many students, too many friends.

He gets Frank and Katherine onto his jet as the plantation burns behind them. Dark Oaks sinks back into the swamp.

ACT VII — THE CURE THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

In flight, Van Helsing takes a blood sample from Katherine.

He sees something extraordinary. An antigen—the same principle Victor discovered in Wilfred Glendon. A fragment of humanity still fighting inside the monster.

Van Helsing isolates it. Refines it.

And realizes the horrifying possibility: This cure doesn’t need to be injected. It can be aerosolized. A gas.

Something that could end the vampire curse worldwide. But not without consequences.

Van Helsing outfits Frank and Katherine with inhibitor suits, allowing them to survive sunlight—for now.

They are living proof the cure works. And proof that Prodigium will try to steal it.

EPILOGUE — THE CALL TO WAR

Van Helsing listens to a voicemail from Derrick Holloway. His parents are dead. Prodigium is escalating.

No more isolated battles. No more secrecy. Van Helsing begins preparations for another Hunters Brotherhood assembly. This time, not to hunt. But to end the war.

POST-CREDITS SCENE — THE SUMMONS

Van Helsing leaves New Orleans at dawn. He sends a single message: “San Francisco. Now. This is bigger than anything we’ve faced before.” It goes to Tyler Holt.

The Brotherhood must reunite. This is no longer theoretical. It is imminent.
