Jan, you have some of the best stuff on DeviantArt. I'm wondering why you're not using Fold...err... Galleries. A large linear pile of 1.6K image means your earlier uploads don't get seen as much, since almost nobody is going to scroll scroll scroll scroll to the bottom. By using Folders (DA calls the "Galleries" it provides multiple paths to see your art. Photos can exist in as many fold...err... "Galleries" as you want. And managing them is actually one of the rare things DA makes easy, with Move and Copy menus. Try it, it's useful.
