BUYING A ZLESDIN

There are a number of ways to buy an existing Zlesdin:

Group adopts
Custom imports
Purchase from another user

The former two are covered in their own journals. If you purchase a horse from another user you must the group about the transaction once the new reference sheet has been made so the horse's info can be updated in the registry.
The buyer should send a group note with the following info:

Horse's name + a link to their new reference
Horse's group ID
The name of your stable
The name of the user you purchased the horse from

IF your horse does not have an ID yet (ex. if it's a foal) it's enough to send a registration note to the group so the horse can receive an ID.

NOTE: It is your's and never the admins' responsibility to keep track of the ID of your purchased horses.



SELLING A ZLESDIN

If you plan to sell your Zlesdin it is up to the new owner to alert the group about the transaction once the new reference sheet has been made. The seller must do nothing.
The buyer should send a group note with the following info:

Horse's name + a link to their new reference
Horse's group ID
The name of your stable
The name of the user you purchased the horse from

The seller can note the group that they have sold a horse to another user, but the preferred course of action is not to do it. The group only becomes involved when the information in the registry is ready to be updated, aka once the new reference sheet is up
