Mega Jessica Alba (PS - 1st try) by ZituKX Mega Jessica Alba (PS - 1st try) by ZituKX
Hi there!
Thanks to two wonderful people: :icontybertimus: and :iconaresgirl34: I could finally try to make a collage in Photoshop Portable. Tybertimus was very kind and created a tutorial for me, while Aresgirl helped me with software. I am very very happy and I appreciate help from both of you!

On the other hand side I dropped from a bit skilled person in Corel to complete newbe in Photoshop. So please, leave constructive feedback. I know this collage is shitty and the quality and effects are poor. But please keep in mind that this is my first attempt to use the program. I should get better after a couple of weeks ;)

Anyway: feedback and guidance needed! How can I cut objects out of busy or not single coloured background?

Thank you all in advance and hope that next collage will be better ^^

Very good! I can see some of the old background around her legs. After you cut the model out next time you can use the magic wand to select the whole figure, then use the refine edge tool. It will show up on the top tool bar on the screen. Also, the mask tool will be great for making the model feel like she is between the buildings. There are some great videos on youtube covering the tool and different ways to use it. I can tell you are catching on quick! Keep up the hard work. :)

Thank you! I should get better with each collage. I will use your advice :)
Point is, that everything in PS is different than in Corel ^^ Even such simple things like zooming or bending/resizing the object. But I am slowly getting used to this new software :)
Thank you once again for all your help!

Oh yeah it's a competently different software. I used corel a while back and it took a minute to get a hang of.
