Giantess of Enghelab Street by ZituKX Giantess of Enghelab Street by ZituKX

Yes, this collage is in very poor quality. But this time it's about something more than just altering photographs. Since 27/12/18 in Iran there is happening a very brave movement of true feminists, who want equal rights for Iranian women and they want to change headscarves from being compulsory to optional. Women who participate are really risking a lot, but they value their freedom much more than their lives.

First to publicly remove her hijab was Vida Mohaved, but her photos were too difficult to edit. Nonetheless she began a silent uprising and I hope they will regain their freedom.

I was browsing the net to find a way to support them, but they seem to be not organised at the moment. If by any chance you know how they can be supported (financially or otherwise), please let me know.

Please bear in mind this is not anti-Islam entry as I have nothing against any non-satanic religions. It's against a culture that discriminates women by having unequal standards for genders. It's not against clothing either. Other solution for equality would be if men in Iran would be wearing hijabs too.

What a strong political statement this is. I always feel a little sad when dress codes are forced on people, in various parts of the world, particularly when it is on only one gender, voluntary dress codes are OK, and that is quite apart from the general discrimination between genders in a number of different parts of the world (on most continents) which is not good. Everybody was created equal under God.

This is unbeliavable that in 21st century some countries have so stupid and harmful rules. Rich actresses in USA feeling unequal because of 1 million lower salary, in Iran women cannot do what they want :(

World would be so much better under your rule, goddess... At the moment all we can do is to spread the word and help as much as we can. Hopefully it will be the beginning of the end for the inequality
