Also, my avatar is one of my own works, from The Ship I Flew in On, from April of 2025. This finally feels right! And yes, I've come to accept that I am part alien. 🙂

To my sweet surprise, I won recognition as a poet for the entry Haiku of Love from July 2024. Then, adding to my surprise, I won more recognition with another poem, And the Night was Bright from Stars and Love, from March 2025. I continue to be profoundly grateful to and for many people along the way for encouraging my writing and especially poetry over the years.

I've always enjoyed and supported the arts and literature and patronized many libraries and museums. I believe more of my fellow conservatives should learn to appreciate these; if more did, maybe we could show the liberals what real culture looks like. Traditional art, pro-life pro-liberty themes and similar are actually some of the underpinnings of civilization. Also, quality works of any kind are just cool and enjoyable in themselves!

I'm mostly retired now and so have more opportunity to pursue and enjoy creative endeavors. Mostly I write stories and poems for self-expression and fun. I don't draw or render unless you like everything looking like a box. But I have posted images created from DreamUp Ai (stories & poems are mine, however).

Themes vary and are sometimes topical. But science fiction, romance and spirituality are the most common. I'm primarily a Trekker and do appreciate other franchises, such as Star Wars.

A word about scammers or sex or fetish themed watchers or requesters. I may block anyone I strongly suspect or know is doing either. I have no photos uploaded here and I'm not active on anti-social media sites or Discord. I don't do NFTs. Any chat or notes requests mentioning any of these may result in that member being blocked.
