Photo Basics Project 2: Me by ZiltzWiltz Photo Basics Project 2: Me by ZiltzWiltz
This semester at CCAD I'm taking a Photo Basics class (required for my major, Still-Based Media Studies), and I thought that I'd share one of my favorite projects that we've done thus far.

This was the second project that we did, and the concept was to take a photo that represented ourselves. I drew a nice hot bath and sunk in with my camera (taking care to not drop it in, ofcourse) and began to take snapshots of my feet. This concept was the first thing I thought of as the professor was telling us about this project, and like usual I went with my first instinct.

Though I had to stand up and talk about my photo to the class, tell them why I went with this idea, I'm not going to explain it to you. I would have preferred to not tell them, either. Take from this photo what you wish, make up a story for yourself, derive your own meanings.

I would like to hear what you come up with, though.

I honestly don't blame you for thinking of this. I love hot baths and sometimes they make me feel better when I'm down and they definitely calm me when I'm angry and help me sleep. This is something I do a lot too :) I love this shot. Wonderful conceptual idea
