I don’t think there’s any sense of going to war, unless they push the issue hard enough that we have no choice. Once they leave we can just blast the last remaining tunnel and forget about them. If they manage to survive on their own, good for them. But at this point we’re basically two separate species. It’s for the best that we stay out of each other’s way.”

A few nearby outsiders give Alph a dirty look, but say nothing. It is one thing to be hated, it is another to be dismissed as sub-human.
