Aloha, I saw a twitter post a while back about the STORY EDITOR in #ClipStudioPaint and finally decided to play around with it. It allows you to manually add text to the pages in your Comic file. It outputs the text on the page number you enter the text on. The Story Editor is located at Story > Edit Text > Open Story Editor. From there you can manually enter the text, or copy-n-paste from a word processor, into the selected line under the page number. Pressing enter twice or right-clicking and choosing Add Text adds a new line for the dialog. After entering the text in the editor, select the page to work on and all the text on the page will be on the right in it's own layer. Manipulate the text to fit the page as you see fit. Note: If there is already text in the comic before using the Story Editor, it will automatically add it to the editor. It's not perfect, and I may need to tweak some settings as it puts all the unformatted text on the right of the page in a vertical

Aloha, For my birthday last week, I received Amazon gift cards from family and friends. So I looked up a replacement tablet and saw that the #Huion Kamvas Pro 16 was $399.99 and highly recommended. Check out some reviews of it on YouTube. Amazon had a $100 off instant coupon and with the gift cards and my redeeming some Microsoft points into Amazon gift cards, I was able to bring the price down to $0.00 and that included a 4-year warranty extension for $45! So it was a no brainier and I ordered it. The tablet came in today and setup was pretty straightforward. Download and install drivers before plugging in the tablet, set preferences in #ClipStudioPaint for TabletPC instead of WinTab, and did some quick tests before I had family obligations to tend to. Worked great. There are a couple of quirks that I'll need to get used to but those should be resolved with time and practice. Discovered a MS Update had installed or updated a Tilt driver which appears to be one of the issues I have with my Wacom Intuos 4 Pro. I disabled it and so far it stopped the lift up the pen and a line will still be drawn problem. It still has other issues such as the Bluetooth function no longer works and the pen is still registered about 1.5 inches off the tablet and will occasionally not release a tool until the pen is above that 1,5 inch mark. After disabling the Tilt service, I tested inking part of last night's and so far so good even with some of the other faults. It'll do until I can replace it.
