As I previously stated, I am trying to see how to use AI in my workflow for creating art. Tried some things in the past, such as processing a written script, or color an image from a sketch. Experimenting further, I took a this sketch od my Dragon Age Origins characters and had both Gemini and ChatGPT finish it as if it was a painting found it an old D&D manual. The results were encouraging, but not instant as others may lead you to believe. With out telling the AI what specific colors used by each character, you'd get various results each time. The prompt for this was about 1-2 pages in length. Original Sketch. Gemini (Left) vs ChatGPT (right). I could see this used to finalize our ideas, and/or be useful to writers visualizing their ideas for projects. Personally I feel ChatGPT does a better job overall with the painted look I asked for than Gemini which elongated the faces slightly. Another thing I did was have the AI finish an unfinished comic page that was various sketch

Been having fun trying other's prompts for AI over on Twitter/X. One was for a comic book cover, where it created costumes based off your reference characters' original designs but left the face intact. Thought it'd be interesting what it came up with my characters. Lots of different scenarios get posted and I participate in a 'Prompt of the Day' and were encouage to edit them to match our vision and to further learn the process. Annie pretty much is my poster girl for these, but the others get some love too. [DEVIATION]

I thinking I'm having too much fun with the whole AI thing. I mentioned before that seeing you original characters in different styles is addictive, and while I only tested it briefly as I am only using the free options, seeing a video with the characters scratches an itch I never knew I needed. One of the thing I did recently is have the Ai take a finished drawing and remake it. I used the Hatsune Miku image I did sixteen years ago, and have the Ai remake it as a fake movie poste. It worked better than I imagined. [DEVIATION] [DEVIATION] It even put a terminator in the foggy background which wasn't in the original. While I am happy with the one I did, this feels creepier because the image is about the dangers of Ai re-made by Ai.
