Gigantoraptor erlianensis by ZeWqt Gigantoraptor erlianensis by ZeWqt

Gigantoraptor erlianensis, the largest species of the Oviraptorosaur family. Indeed, it is an animal of nearly 8 meters long and more than 2 tons, while the second largest Oviraptoridae, Citipati, measured about 3.5 meters long and weighted about 60 Kg, but the specimen discovered wasn't fully grown, it's likely than an adult individual was measured about 10 meters. It was probably omnivorous. Eggs were found in a very large fossilized nest in Mongolia with Oviraptorids embryos within them (almost certainly those of Gigantoraptor). Despite their large size, its likely that Gigantoraptors were hatching their eggs, covering them with their arms (as suggested by some Oviraptorosaur Fossil), its feathers would protect the eggs from the vagaries of the desert. I nicknamed it "the Cretaceous Cockatrice".
EDIT: I colored it and corrected the small errors of the plumage, at first I wanted to make it even more colorful (limit makeup with a trowel), but I was a little afraid of missing the coloring. Yes, I wasn't being able to prevent myself to color the human figure to make it look like a guy in a tuxedo ... or at a Slenderman.

No no, it has a heigh of 1.75 meter, it's the posture of the Gigantoraptor which makes the human silhouette taller!
