Diafanes Transparent osX style Themes for Windows7

Diafanes Transparent macos X style Themes for Windows 7 theme, made for using ONLY to a WINDOWS 7  system.

This is an experimental work, not finished, but I may never finish, so I release it 'as is' for some people asked on past.

1. This pack has only the visual style and themes, you need to download the system files, wallpapers, cursors, sounds , INSTRUCTIONS etc that exist to my  Macos X Fos for Windows 7 Theme.

To the TEXT side of the  Macos X Fos for Windows 7 Theme I give a freeware external DOWNLOAD LINK  for download the pack which includes the System files, Wallpapers, Cursors, Sounds, INSTRUCTIONS etc that are necessary, for looking the style as in the picture.

2. Infact Diafanes themes is a Dark macos x style with white text and dark/blac k background, and for be transparent needs a 3rd party freeware application which is  Black Glass Enhanced v0.5     , so  you have to download it also.

3. Diafanes Theme is an experiment, which  is NOT finished,  but I release it, as is.

Personally I don't like transparent themes because having by default many limitations, but I make that for some fans of transparent themes that asked me for.

4. The Theme can work even with light color Wallpaper backgrounds, just if you set the slider of Color intensity to the appropriate position  at  : 

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization\Window Color and Appearance 

so when you write a text to Notepad, this could be read it.

ofcorse Darker Wallpapers are better, though can work with any other.

5. The problem to dark background /white text Aero style themes is with the Help window (and some other areas), which comes by default with hardcoding black text, which not controlled from the visual style, though I have not time to search and fix this.

THE  KIND OF THEMES

There 3 kind of Themes including to this ZeusOsX work :

Diafanes100 , Diafanes125and Diafanes.

The Diafanes100  theme works to : Smaller 100% (Default) DPI.
The Diafanes125  theme works to : Medium 125%  DPI.
The Diafanes  theme works to Any dpi, but has not stripes to Details and Content.


Diafanes100 & Diafanes125  theme have circle style image for Explorer's Search, and very slight semitransparent stripes to Details and Content.

If you dont like the stripes use the  Diafanes  theme which works to Any dpi, and has square style image for Explorer's Search.



So, before start the Installation procedure, please first see at what condition is your Display :
Go to :
Control panel/All control panel items/Display

and see what is already checked, if Smaller 100% (Default) is selected then you must use the theme and the system files with the code that is made for Smaller 100% (Default) dpi Display. 
To this case you can use Diafanes100  and Diafanes themes.

if Medium 125%  DPI is selected then you must use the theme and the system files with the code that is made for Medium 125%   dpi Display.
To this case you can use Diafanes125  and Diafanes themes.

To any other DPI version only Diafanes theme can be used.

Diafanes  means Transparent to Greek languange.


In ancient and in nowdays Hellenic (=Greek) [Active CODE] language, every letter, and every word is a specific number, and it has a specific meaning.
ZEUS ( or DEUS or DIAS) is Master of immortal Gods in Hellenic (=Greek) Active CODE [arithmetic machine logic] language, and APPLE is the given gift from ZEUS . 

So the name of the THEME choosen from Hellenic = GREEK language and civilization.

General View of How to Start the modification.

UNZIP the pack.

Unzip using 7z  www.7-zip.org  

First do a restore point to your system. 

after unzip, there is a THEMES FOLDER, open it and copy all and paste to :

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

Then set Never Notify  to 'Change User Account Control Settings'  : How to do it :

Important  TO DO THE FOLLOWING (IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS YOU MAY HAVE PROBLEM AND THE SYSTEM FILES WILL NOT BE COPIED AND YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEM TO YOUR SYSTEM), So GO TO :  

Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts

and mouse press the folder 'Change User Account Control Settings' set the slider to the next window Never Notify. 

Restart your System.
 Its very important to do this .

After changing replacing the system files and we finish the modification, at the end, we can change this again to whatever wish, but while do this modification set the Never Notify choice. 

To use the visual styles ( mstyle)/themes , you must install FIRST a  small application that enable the use of non microsoft themes, download it from  www.uxstyle.com/   

For replacing the original system files, you can do it or by taking permissions of the original microsoft system files, then rename them, and copy paste the new ones, or  easier doing this with a  small freeware program named  Se7en File Replacer.

Download  Se7en File Replacer  from : www.xptsp.com/fixit/replacer.p…   

So it may be easier to replace the system files  with the method of  using Se7en File Replacer, but I also will include to instructions text to the downloaded pack also the traditional method with the taking of  permissions and ownership of the original microsoft system files, and manually replace them

Go to

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

and apply the theme.

'Officially' to Deviant Art I make themes from 2006, and the development  of the code that is used to this theme is many years work, with adding thousands new parameters and  new images in osx style, and making thousands of experiments, for making it compatible for use and making continuous development of the code.
