Been listening to the news about the disasters in Japan, and honestly I don't know what to say. First came the earthquake, then the tsunami and now the possibility of a meltdown at the nuclear facility. And now the news are reporting that the aftershocks are moving southward and if a big enough aftershock hits Tokyo, who knows what will happen. This almost seems like something out of a Hollywood disaster movie, and now we're just waiting for the next disaster to hit. And even after hearing the Prime Minister of Japan saying that this disaster is on par with the death toll of the Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings in WWII. Maybe Japan will come o

DINOBOTS... As a little kid, that word sent shivers down my spine. They combined in my mind the two coolest things for a kid (robots & dinosaurs), and created something amazing. I loved them in both the show, and in the comics, but preferred their comic books personas, especially Grimlock's. Over the years, other Dinosaur themed Transformers have appeared, but none had the same appeal to me as did the G1 bad boys (except for Dinobot). They did release Grimlock in Beast Wars as a recolour of Dinobot, but having him as a Raptor didn't seem right.  Just watching Holmes on Homes, and I love this show. For those who don't know, Mike Holmes is a Contractor that goes around to homes, and fixes problems that other contractors have done to homes. What's is getting me, is not the home owners that are on the show, because I have sympathy for them. What is getting me are the individuals who feel it is alright to "con" people out of their hard earned money for jobs that are a disgrace (all be it, one that the home owners sometimes don't notice). I get even more irrate when it involves individuals who have kids with special needs, and the guys will still do poor jobs and blame the owners when thi
