TradSavvy IV: Rubius on Biro

Introductions!
Greetings! The Community Relations' Traditional Art Team is proud to present to all of you the fourth instalment of Project TradSavvy.   Joining us here today for the coverage on biro or more widely known as ball-point pens is a highly imaginative young lady, of artistic style so unique and defined, Rubius!

The Interview
1. Hello Ruby, and thank you very much for participating TradSavvy as our guest artist! As this article is covering biro, or more widely known as the ballpoint pen, please tell us what is it about this genre of medium that draws or fascinates you so.
Thank you for having me! My love for biro pens started out as an accident. I was bored in school, and often doodled in my notes to pass the time, but I quickly realized that biro pens have much more

Community Relations Newsletter - April

deviantART's Community Relations Team provides a unique collective effort that seeks to create and sustain collaborative relationships among deviants and to develop innovative opportunities within the global art industry. These relationships are meant to provide and encourage opportunities to foster creative genius.  The CR Team acts as a window of information for the community on how to utilize deviantART in a way that will empower and enable themselves as respected and successful artists.
Our ultimate vision is a community of artists that come together unified and strengthened by sharing the belief that they hold the artistic power to create and shape their own success.  In order to realize our vision,  our mission must be to exceed the expectations of our community, whom we view as partners, and we will accomplish this by committing to our shared core values. Our core values are listed in :faq84:

Relay For Life
Alright deviants listen up.
I am participating in an event coming up called Relay for Life. If you have never heard of it, go here: http://www.relayforlife.com
Basically we raise money individually. Then on the night of the event, we raise money as a team and I will run for money as well. The best part is that 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TOWARDS CANCER RESEARCH AND CANCER PATIENTS! Isn't that great? I think it's amazing.
Just to make it clear, I get no portion of this money, or anything. I'm doing this because it is an amazing cause and I am very passionate about it. I absolutely love this and I have been doing it for 7 years, ever since 2nd grade.
I am posting this on deviantart because I have seen how generous and passionate about cancer you guys are. And for all of the people on deviantart fighting this horrible disease. People like JunkbyJen are my hero, because I wish I would have the courage that she does if I were in her situation.
You donate directly through this link

Message Center Retention Changes
For many deviants, the Message Center acts as a home base for their deviantART experience.

It allows you to view the latest deviations from your friends, find out about contests and events, stay up to date by reading journals, vote in polls, and read comments and replies. In essence, your Message Center is the heart of deviantART with information constantly being pumped in and out.

In order to create a superior Message Center experience and add much needed functionality, we've found it necessary to implement a few limitations on the messages and deviations in your Message Center.

These limitations come in two forms:

Drop By Drop Super Epic Auction!
Ahh yeah!
(:+favlove: the mirrored journal entry!)
Thats right, folks! Its pretty amazing what we have to announce right now and everyone at HQ is really excited. We have been more than pleasured with being donated a custom made print by dA's very own Katie (snowmask), and despite our urges, we are going to auction it off.
And... Here's the fun part... 100% OF PROFITS GO TO THE DROP BY DROP CAUSE (water and sanitation) IN KENYA!!
Check out the deviation here, :+fav: it, give some big hugs to snowmask, and wonder and awe:
And of course, what would this journal be without having a photo of the sensual Katie POSING (nude?) with said deviation: www.dropbydrop.info/media/dropbydropprint.JPG
And to add even more sensual flair, what if we said it would be CUSTOM SIGNED for you or whomever you want (great for a gift!)?!
OH HOTT DAMN
The auction opens tonight, Ma

The All New Urban HeadGear
Working with our overseas engineers, we've designed and built a technologically-superior piece of headwear which we're quite proud of. The new DeviantWEAR Urban Headgear unit is built from space-age materials which are clinically proven to block harmful and unwanted signals from affecting your brilliant creative mind.

This specific initial release unit has been shown, in over one dozen clinical trials, to significantly enhance the creative person's ability to simply be creative without interference from radio signals, television signals, and other unwanted airwaves which could dramatically deteriorate the mind.

At deviantART, we believe in

Hello Deviant Artiststststs

Has anyone have any experience using Behance?

Any good books, music, art, ice cream flavors, baklava?

This year is the wife and I's 10th year anniversary!  I don't know why I bring that up however it sounds festive.
We met on dA, and the rest is dirty secrets.

Anyway, cheers yo, have a classy January, and be sure to throw out your Trump hats for inauguration, should be fun I guess.
