Ce portrait est à la base un teste de matières, une création anarchique avec une thématique qui m'a vite rattrapé, entre les meutres et attentats omni présent, Carnage me semblait être un mot assez éloquant.
Personnage connu des fans de Marvel, Carnage est un personnage que je trouve presque representatif de nouvelles générations de personnes déjà bien assises socialement.
Profondement encré dans le mythe oedipien, froncièrement destructeur et jouisseur de toute action égoiste ; il vise avant tout un plaisir immédiat et souvent irréfléchis.
Personnage qui devait supplanter son père Venom comme male alpha et antagoniste de l'araignée, celui-ci aura mis le temps a s'émensiper et sortir de l'ombre de ce dernier.
La race des symbiotes a pour nature la pulsion de mort envers leurs géniteurs et enfants, et ça pourtant après avoir indirrectement aidé à la conception de toxin avant de le prendre évidement pour cible.
Sa survie en dépendant rien d'étonnant qu'il ai trouvé en Cletus Kasady (serial killer fier de l'être et l'un de ses hôte les plus connus) un hôte et une ame soeur toute indiquée, tout les deux mus par la satisfaction de voir toute chose se briser sous le poids de leurs seules envies.
Il ne supporte pas être dépassé, ni ridiculisé ou subir le contrôle d'un autre. Il se présente donc comme un enfant turbulant avec des appetits insassiables et un arsenal d'armes blanches limité à sa seule imagination.
Contrairement à Venom (ou Toxin) qui voient leurs deux personnalités distinctes, il est presque impossible de differencier la volonté de Kasady de celle du symbiote puisqu'ils sont sur une longueur d'onde parfaitement similaire.
Il n'est plus question de controler le pire des deux, mais plutot, un union parfait régit par une pulsion purement chaotique.

This portrait is basically a test of materials, an anarchic creation with a theme that quickly caught up with me, between the recent murders and attacks, Carnage seemed to me a fairly eloquent word.
Marvel's famous character, Carnage is a character that I find almost representative of new generations of people already socially well.
Deeply embedded in the Oedipal myth, a fiercely destructive and enjoyer of every egoistic action; It is above all an immediate and often unreflective pleasure.
A character who was supposed to supplant his father Venom as the male alpha and antagonist of the spider, this one will have taken time to get emensified and to emerge from the shadow of the latter.
The breed of symbiotes has the nature of the death instinct towards their parents and children, and yet after having indirectly helped the design of toxin before taking it as target.
His survival depended on, so nothing surprising that he found Cletus Kasady (a serial killer insolent and most famous host) as host and soulmate, both motivated by Satisfaction of seeing everything break under the weight of their own desires.
It can not stand being outdated, not ridiculed or undergo the control of another. He is exactly as a turbulent child with insatiable appetites and an arsenal of white weapons limited to his imagination alone.
Unlike Venom (or Toxin) who see their two distinct personalities, it is almost impossible to differentiate Kasady's will from that of the symbiote since they are on a perfectly similar wavelength.
It is no longer a matter about controlling the worst of the two, but rather, a perfect union governed by a purely chaotic impulse.
