Hello everyone!
According to my profile, I've been here for four years. Technically true. Spiritually... not so much.
I originally signed up just to download a pink unicorn mouse cursor pack for my niece. Then I disappeared into the digital wilderness.
Fast forward to almost a year ago, when I finally uploaded my first deviation. It was... an excellent example of how every artistic journey should begin: awkward, enthusiastic, and objectively terrible, but the process of creating it and a possibilities it opened, took my breath away.
I was taken to the fantastic world of art, fantasy, colors and endless imagination just by browsing through the works of the people here.
I have none, what so ever, connection to the art world and I have no idea what I am doing about half of the time, but I am enjoying this very much and hope to learn a lot from You all.
So, funny story—my amazing wife gifted me a DeviantArt subscription. Sweet, right? Only... she didn’t quite realize what she was unleashing. Fast forward, and now I’m mildly obsessed (in the healthiest, most creative way possible, of course).
To keep the madness going, I’ve opened a donation pool! The goal? Extend the subscription and help support other wonderfully deranged creatives out there. Because why should I be the only one spiraling into beautiful artistic chaos?
