When I first saw this picture, I was like WOW, STUNNING, SO AMAZING *__* I wanted to write a critique about this picture so I did... I it is my very first critique in DA XD

It have been so long that I have seen such a fantastic room that full of nice smells and blooming flowers.

Your work is super gorgeous. The room looks beautiful full of bloom flowers! The dress is the most lovely thing in the picture fluffy and puffy... I hope you keep picturing nice pictures like this one <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> Keep up the very good work! you should really take DD in this pretty picture ~ hope you do <3

and thank you

The composition of the photograph is gorgeous. The perfect centering of the model partnered with the angles created by her legs and arms balances the picture quite well. The placement of the flowers was well thought out and not overwhelmingly crowding the picture leaving the model to be the complete focus.
The lighting coming from the window is atmospheric and mysterious giving the photograph a classic and poignant sensation. The overall creamy quality of the work is subtle and alluring however there is no drama.
The tone of the photograph is so similar that it causes it to be a tad boring.
The fact that the audience is drawn into the shoes because of its different colour palette and centering really adds interest to the photograph. The positioning of the shoes and the angle they are in are perfect.
The dress however does slightly ruin the picturesque nature of the image. Its stuffy and over the top. The skirt is beautiful, the detail of the roses partnered with the simplistic cream of the under skirt is utterly breathtaking. Unfortunately the sleeves of the dress tend to make the model stocky and thick with no sense of delicacy. The dress should be without sleeves . The high neck line is stunning but the roses are completely over done. The excessive amount of roses on the dress really overcrowd the composition especially with the background being so filled.
The make up is demure and subtle but the hair is flat and stagnant with absolutely whimsical quality which would have echoed the background.
The photograph is well done and gorgeous but it could have had more drama and be more atmospheric.

It's a big honor for me to have an oportonety to write my opinion on such a fine work, of an artist I admire and follow for a long time.

This work really pops up in many ways, with a classic touch of flower theme all around from the flower jars to the sofa and the model's dress. It contains a good amount of passion and sexy touch by the legs exposure and model's look and calm body language. Also, the natural look of the furniture is a great base for such picture.
The picture has one more interesting thing to catch the eye of - a group of flowers near the model's legs, which adds something to think about - some isolated flowers on the ground when all the rest are properly made.
For all of that I chose to give 5 stars on Vision and Originality. This picture shows a great setup from the whole crew, which is very noticeable.

I have no much to say about the Technique of this picture, because it's very noticeable to see there are a lot of profession work in here in posing, frame building and lighting use. Yet I can point a few things to have a notice about.
The lighting and color are good and deliver a special atmosphere to the watcher, getting to stay on the picture more then a few seconds, like a rich paint. But I feel it has too bright tone in the model area, which makes her blend-in the whole picture instead of pop her out more.
I had a bit hard hand on that with a 4 stars but it's the little things to get the most, as I feel it.

For the Impact and sum up my critique I only have a few words to say -

When watching this picture, it feels and smells like a rich royal garden in it's elegant aspect.

The first thought I had when looking at this image was "magazine cover". Sure enough when I read the description it was in fact a shot for a cover.

It's composition is well suited for magazine media, your main subject is bold, beautiful and in the centre of the frame leaving plenty of room for the usual magazine clutter font. There is even enough head room for a bold magazine title. If it weren't for a magazine, I'd say there was too much head room.

What I enjoy best in this image is all that extra space around the subject. The cluster of flowers are well organized to the dainty white flower that is the model. The lighting is soft and kind of hazy, adding a dream like effect. The strong light from the window pouring in is just what the flowers need to bloom so tenaciously in the frame.

Though surrounding a model with flowers is nothing new, I find this image refreshing. You can't quite tell if the flowers are real or artificial. In the end, it doesn't really matter because there is so much fauna that it makes the image so overly romantic that you just get lost in the pure boldness of the shot.

I'm not a fan of the dress the model is wearing, but that's not the point. It's a bold, delicate, and just plain luxurious gown, matching the cool looking personality that is the model. I don't know the model either, but this image is enough to make me at least want to pick up the magazine and see who she is.
