We see a real spontaneity in this shot, which combined with classic look gives it a original beauty. About the scarf, I do not think it's a problem in this context.

What I really reproach, it's cold treatment model. We feel a certain distance between the photographer and his subject, when you want to feel closer.

For me, in this picture, it would have been better if the photographer more follow the movement of model. To highlight the expectation or aspiration... To get caught up in the ambiguity that is described here.

From my observations, create uncertainty between the flight and fall requires less neutral point of view in the picture taking.

But for now, this is a beautiful shot. As usual.
Thanks for sharing.

P.S : I prefer Dive, personally.

I love the elements presented in this piece and truly appreciate the vision that you have presented here. I do feel that there is something lacking in the way that you have chosen to perhaps crop the image, whether intentional or not, it leaves something to be desired. The figure is so centrally focused that the off-screen fabric is a bit jarring and interrupts the flow of the piece. If your intention was for the figure to be the main focus of the piece then I see no purpose to the off-screen piece of fabric.

Also, the lighting is so beautiful and well placed in the area(s) around her hair and her face. Why not try a bit more of that accent lighting on the folds of her dress, I feel this would have accentuated the piece and made it that much more dynamic. I love the position you chose to have the figure in, she looks as if she is floating and falling all at the same time.

I love the overall composition of the photo, but I do think the scarf draws attention away from the model, but that's a matter of personal taste. The flow of the hair is absolutely terrific, especially the color; it provides a very nice contrast with the background.

I really like this picture. You can look at it for hours ... days without even getting tired of it. Underwater photography is just awesome, but I have infrequently seen something gorgeous like that.

beautifully ethereal,  though perhaps having the model slightly more to the top (or bottom) would give us a better feeling of floating (or falling).
