Please follow me on my tumblrfacebook page, DA, and or twitter to get future announcements and updates regarding my work in the future.

Regarding the future of my web-comics...

MYth Inflammation will continue, but with Inkblazers shutting down.... I have no more monthly chapters requirement to meet but I also lost a huge amount of monthly income, so I'll have to work on other things that help pay the bills...therefore, the updates would slow down…probably by a lot.

Most likely I will continue posting the pages on Smackjeeves again like the old days before switching to manga magazines/inkblazers, and maybe start posting MYth on Tapastic as well. (With Inkblazers closing, Tapastic suddenly gets a huge increase in titles because it looks like everyone from Inkblazers switched to Tapastic... =u=lll )

The bigger problem is regarding my regular edition books of my earlier titles My Seasons, Eternal Gift and A Promise. I don't have those books with me anymore, and I just took them down from lulu book shop because of their recent print quality issues and linked everyone to my inkblazer shop for books... before I figure out a better way, I'm sorry to say the earlier titles won't be available for purchase. Now only limited edition of Will and Distillation are available on my Storenvy, and Sunnyis available as e-book on Amazon.com

I feel sad that they didn't notify the authors in advance and just suddenly dropped the bad news. (One month isn't enough to prepare for this. O__Q)

I wasn't as shocked compared to many other users because I actually have always been concerned about this when I think about the huge amount of financial support they try to provide all the comic artists with the preview program. I was hoping it could continue for as long as possible, but sadly it has come to an end. I sincerely appreciate everything IB provided for me and the funding I was able to receive through this website over the past 3 years. It was a huge help for my family especially during my mother's illness.

Thank you Foster, for inviting me.

Thank you Victor, for all the help

and thanks to all the hard working staff of Inkblazers/ Manga Magazine for making this place so beautiful and easy to use.

Thanks for everything!

Oh darn! I should have bought the earlier titles when I had the chance ;O

So far, only have the complete A Promise (which btw were wrapped very nicely and are of great quality <3). Hopefully lulu's print quality goes up! Otherwise, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled watching your stores (and should I ever find you at-con support there as well--for now save up for AX orz).

It's my pleasure to see beautiful art and the myths retold~ Looking forward to them <3  I already knew how horrible Zeus was in the "authentic" myths, but you just made me love Hades 1000x more with your interpretations. My Seasons and A Promise just won me over (Have to admit that your interpretation of Zeus ostracizing Hades is more or less just his way of fulfilling Hades' wish was cute OvObb) Every time I read something based off of the Hades x Persephone story, I get flashbacks of your version ^^ If you ever decided to focus on Apollo, and Artemis at one point...besides mini portions of the story/memes, I'll definitely have to purchase. I love their back stories >v<

8< I was going to purchase some of your books on inkblazers too.

I really wanted to get copies of My Seasons and A Promise. 8<

This is so unfair.

Maybe someday you'll have them for sale again and I can get them. And you're right, one month isn't enough time for anything 8<

You could go on Patreon, that could help you with getting some money to help you while you do the pages and things

This maybe a bit late, but I'm so sad to hear that Inkblazer shut down! I've liked your works ever since I saw it on Tokyopop's website, and I hope I can still enjoy your comics in the coming days, printed or on screen. I wish you all the best! >_<)b

Oh my, I'm sorry to hear that! 8c

But hopefully you'll be able to find another site soon. Mayhaps you can try using Patreon? It's a site that allows you to get patrons who support you monthly to do what you do, almost like Kickstarter but more suited for small personal projects.

Inkblazers is shutting down? Is that why it will no  longer let me log in...?

that shouldn't be the problem. People are still logging in and most authors are still updating their comic pages. I'm posting until January as well. ^^

So are the earlier mangas gone forever? Or is it just temporary?

They are all available for reading online, but the printed copies of my earlier titles were only available through inkblazers. I will be ordering some proof copies from the other printer (lulu) I used to print with and make sure their quality has improved. (I took my books down from lulu shop earlier due to their recurring print defects...Orz ) Please look forward to the updates on that ^__^ Thank you for asking.

Alright, that's good! They were such wonderful stories, it would be a tragedy to suddenly lose them. Thanks!

 I'm really sorry. I'm actually legit worried now about your income... I really REALLY want you to be able to keep doing what you love. I'm a bit tempted to start doing research about how to get manga published by a company, like how Bizenghast was published by Tokyopop before they shut down.

I'll be praying for the best for you and your wonderful family. And of course I will always buy your books and calendars when they come out. ^-^

//already stalking you on Tapastic~  XDD

It really does seem like most titles are gravitating over to Tapastic.  I like it better than Smackjeeves because there's a way to subscribe to things and actually get alerts for updates and such... and Smackjeeves doesn't do that, as far as I can tell.  ;w;  It's their major flaw.

Tapastic is something that I've seen a LOT of people go to. It doesn't have guaranteed money, but setting up there and on Patreon would be the only real ways to garner money at the moment with comics, I surmise.

I'm also saddened by Inkblazers shutting down, when I was hoping to join in next year. Hopefully things look better with Tapastic at the moment combined with Patreon, though. :)

I would love to see your comics continue, even at a slower rate! I understand the loss dealt by Inkblazers and life having to resettle after a sudden blow like that.

I only have one volume of MYth: A Promise and I guess never get the other 2 volumes again?

Is Tapstic related to patreon?
IceQueen987's avatar
You could still order the other 2 parts of A Promise before the site shuts down I think.
