To the edge of the galaxy and back on a sound wave

To the edge of the galaxy and back on a sound wave

Forgive my indulgence but I have been a fan of Space music (if such a genre really exists) since, would you believe Telstar (the pop song instrumental) back in the early 60s.  Then leaping into the psychedelic music of the mid-60s, which still prevails to this day in its myriad flavours.  In the early 70s I "found" Hawkwind.  With their mix of hard rock, sci fi lyrics and electronic (nascent) flourishes my love of Space music was well and truly set. A collection of things (planets, galaxies, suns, nebulae, comets and living things etc) in a vacuum. There lies another question.  Other lifeforms?.  Sentient lifeforms? We have SETI.  Fabled little green men from Mars. Our imagination is rife. Although, even in our imaginations we still anthropomorphise largely when it comes to alien lifef
