Thank you. Avimimus is one of these I will "go back to" every now and then, to reprise, and always "from scratch", I love composing it's head and arranging it's body, and - unsurprisingly - it does tend to come back to it's "good old self" every time: a super-specialized little sprinter.

I'm imagining a typical evolutionary scenario of true Caudipterygids got pushed away by other Maniraptorans, and Avimimus being the one remnant "allowed to stay" thanks to it's extremely specialized anatomy.
