As a fan of colors and glowing things, I've been super eagering to see each nations' Avatar wielding their lightsabers all glowy and colorful-like. The scale of the project continued to grow until the very last ctrl+S - really stretching this sharp painting style, unexpectedly designing Star-Wars-themed Avatar symbols, and producing my first gigabyte-sized Photoshop document. It sort of feels like the art added more to my ability than my ability added to the art.
Something I love doing is comparing original concepts to final products - and this piece was particularly fun to compare. So, if you have a curiousness, you can see the original concept below.

Funny enough, there was a load of Force abilities that were akin to elemental bending, this is amusingly appropriate.

Well it’s two of not only my favorite fantasy franchises but two of the most objectively influential ones. Of course it would be cool to see them smashed together.
Right - yeah I know what you mean. Avatar greatly changed how I view story telling - and I actually had a Padawan braid for years when I was little.

When I was in college for writing, several of my peers said how Avatar was a huge influence on them. It is our generation's Lord of the Rings in terms of influence on the fantasy genre and I don't say that lightly.
