The Venus Fly-Trap by ZED-EYE The Venus Fly-Trap by ZED-EYE

When I painted this, I didn’t know what the meaning of most of the imagery was.  It was spontaneous and I painted whatever came to mind.  I’ve not painted anything else remotely similar to this before or after.  This is literally a time capsule -- a message to my future self… because only now, decades later, do I fully appreciate what it means.  Is it a fluke, a random chance that all this deeply meaningful symbolism just happens to be all together in one painting?  It speaks to the future, of gaining knowledge and remembering -- to what I would eventually discover about the current system -- the prison -- we live in today both physically and spiritually, our possible ancestry and manipulation of our DNA -- damage to the ‘Tree of Life’, the conscious and unconscious mind -- the bridge between the right and left hemispheres of the brain and the doorway to the ‘underworld’ through our pineal gland… the transitory nature of our physical existence…  the fractal, holographic multiverse -- ‘as above so below’… and so much more.

Amazing.  Yes I believe art comes from within and whatever that creative energy is it is real and tangible and comes through us and out onto the artistic canvas ;)  Dream on dreaming things real :)

Thank you!  Exactly.

What is the dream and what is real?  The mind can't tell the difference.

Personally, I think we're all matter/energy converters.

This is amazing! This is quite surreal and reminds me of Salvador Dali's early work. What makes it more impressive though is that this was done with Acrylic Paints. I'm not a painter, though I admire those who are able to come up with creative works such as yourself. In a short: I absolute admire this. Please do keep up the creative works!

Wow, thank you!  I really appreciate your kind thoughts.  Btw, you are a painter -- you've already done many digital paintings/drawings.  I've seen some of your impressive and complex art pieces and it's easy to picture them as acrylic paintings.  Acrylic is fairly easy to work with... Why not give it a try!   :painter:

Wow, well thank you for your kind words as well! I admire your surreal paintings very much so and perhaps I will see if I can work with Acrylic paints sometime in the future. Thanks for the encouragement!
