I find it ironic: I LOVED Star Wars when I was a kid and Luke Skywalker is one of my heroes. I HATED Top Gun back in the 80's. It was just so freaking macho and arrogant. Now we see Luke and Maverick where Luke's character has been destroyed and Maverick is still loyal to what he was. Who knew that I actually LIKED the looks of his new Top Gun movie. One might think that Maverick is just a middle aged guy desperately trying to hold onto the past by wearing the same jacket and doing the same things. Okay I asked this before but some assistance would be greatly appreciated once again: If you had to "compare" Morgalla to anything in our pop culture, what might it be?
A friend of mine called her "Buffy meets Deadpool", which I"m absolutely cool with.
Obviously Hellboy would be another but I compare my four books to the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings but it takes place in modern times and with no ring.
