Drug Dealers

When you walk from Cologne main station, track one, to the rhine bridge, there is a small, hidden patch of grass right next to the tracks. You have to go down a set of stairs and it's always muddy there. In my opinion, there are only two possible uses for this spot: As a secret but central meeting place for drug dealers, or for railway enthusiasts who want to have a great view of the east entry of the cologne main station and it's bridge.

I've never seen any obvious drug dealers there, but you do see the occasional railway fan with camera.

Now in this picture, taken the day before yesterday, an InterCity, pushed by a class 101, and an ICE (InterCity Express) class 403, departed at the same time. Would have been a great picture, only my photo point was on the outside of the curve, and the train on the outside (the InterCity) started first. Gaah! Still, I think it made for a nice picture as both were on the bridge.

In other news, I made this one 900 pixels wide instead of 600. Will probably look horrible on my old laptop, but a new one with larger screen is ordered. Tell me if you like it.
