Looks like a nice start, but you need to beware of wooden structures, as lightening strikes can cause the whole thing to go up in flames while your back is turned, in theory a layer of something non-flammable on top should protect you from this, but I haven't tested it.
You can set your spawn point by making a bed and sleeping in it for the night, then it your die you respawn next to the bed, assuming it's still in the same place.

First off, Thanks for my very first comment!
I haven't see Gundam Wing in some time, so I had to do a bit of googling, and yeh it does look a lot like one of the minor space station, a resourcing station or something. It really wasn't my intention to replicate that, but I guess in the transition between 2D to 3D it must have got filtered in through my subconscious.
