Appearance: Wears a broad brimmed, fedora-styled brown hat and a blue, spotted white bow tie. Other than that, no real distinguishing features.
Accessory: Hat and bow tie, uses a leaf flute for Grass Whistle and magic.
Height: 1’09, slightly taller than the average Treecko.

Build: Lean build. Keeps in shape but nothing too serious.

Magical Abilities/Spells
· Grow/Wither: Can cause plants to either mature or die. The least draining ability he has.
· Water Purification/Pollution: Can manipulate the quality water, making it safe for drinking or hazardous to your health. He’s not fond of using this one due to potential drawbacks.
· Earth Command: Causes the earth to raise and obey his commands. His most powerful spell but extremely taxing on both his mind and body.
· Weather Manipulation: Can causes changes to the weather, though he’s not very skilled with it. The effects are more potent if he concentrates it in one area, but it’s more difficult to do.

Overview: A generally friendly and laid-back guy. Very flirtatious around girls, though he’s never very successful. Likes to help people. Enjoys acting and music.
In Conversation: Speaks with a bit of a flourish around girls he’s flirting with, and sometimes just in regular conversation. Think in a Shakespearian style, or some characters in fantasy games.
At a Glance: Usually smiling, seems friendly. Plays music a lot.
Closer Bond: A dependable friend. Not judgemental, always willing to lend a hand.
Likes: His friends and family, music, helping people in need, acting, attempting to cook.
Dislikes: Bullies, Xavier, people messing with his hat or bow tie, his maternal grandparents.
Fears: The loss of those close to him, losing control of his magic.
Goals: Wants to be a world-famous performer, but also wants to do good in the world.
Combat Information
Battle Style: Very acrobatic, relies on dodging a lot. Moves rather fast, especially when using his ability Unburden. Can’t take many powerful hits, so tends to keep a distance against opponents he doesn’t know. Uses Energy Ball to weaken and annoy opponents, and Acrobatics to finish them.
Prowess: Will almost always resort to diplomacy to solve problems, but is not above getting his hands dirty in a fight.
Strengths: Highly agile, very clever and uses the environment to his advantage, good at combination moves.
Weaknesses: High number of type weaknesses, not good against extreme temperatures, Unburden+Acrobatics combo tires him out quickly.
Ability: Unburden - Gives him a short burst of speed when he stops holding his move tool. He can move almost too fast to see, but it tires him out to move so fast and it can only last for about a minute each time he uses it. He has to reclaim his move tool to reuse it. Can be combined with Acrobatics for a powerful combo.
Move Set
· Move 1: Energy Ball - Horace’s main attack. A powerful burst of energy is fired at opponents. Mainly used to find weak spots in an enemy’s defense from a distance.
· Move 2: Acrobatics - Horace’s finishing move. Using a short burst of speed, he delivers a blow to his opponent. Doubles in force when he loses his move tool. Combines with Unburden for an extremely powerful attack.
· Move 3: Grass Whistle - Horace’s main support move. Can be used to distract enemies or put them to sleep. Also channels his magic, though he rarely uses that in combat.
· Move 4: Attract - Horace’s least used move. Learned it to help him with his flirting skills(lots of moves can be learned to help with everyday skills e.i. Regular use of Quick Attack can improve your ability to run), but doesn’t like to use it because of its unethical nature. Shoots a small pink heart at the opponent and, if they are of the opposite sex, makes them believe they are in love with him, no matter their original orientation. After about an hour or so the effects will wear off, and the target can be shocked out of with things like jump scares or cold water.
Stat Breakdown
Stamina: 7. Horace is rather athletic, and can go for a long time without getting tired. However, due to his smaller build, he does not have the physical strength to enhance his endurance to where it could be. Using moves and magic tires him out more quickly.
Strength: 5. While certainly no weakling, Treecko are not built for strength. Horace has focused more time working on his speed and skill. He is strong enough to deal damage with physical blows, but will not be performing any superhuman feats of strength.
Agility: 9. Quite quick and nimble. Can improve his speed greatly by using his ability for short bursts, but is easily tired when overusing it.
Intelligence: 7. Horace is clever, and does have a basic education, as well as learning various things from his parents and others. He’s not quite the brain that Gary is, and usually defers to him on academic matters, but he can think quickly and is able to process information well.
Charisma: 8. Horace is a rather sociable person, and makes friends easily. The only problem he has is his tendency to be flirtatious around most females.
Magical Stamina (Witches Only): 3. Horace is not very good at using magic for extended periods of time, and the more powerful it is the faster it drains him. His biggest concern, however, is that when he overuses his magic it begins to try to take over, and if it did it would likely kill him and destroy much of the land around him, or at the very least corrupt him.
Magical Strength (Witches Only): 3. Horace’s magic on its own is rather weak. Even with his flute to focus it, he can’t use many powerful spells and attacks, partially because he does not know them and partially because he is afraid to unleash his full magical ability. He’ll get better as he develops his abilities more, but for now he’s not capable of many magical feats.
Magical Skill (Witches Only): 4. Horace did learn some about magic from his father, mostly about the dangers of using it and how to control his powers, but he’s still figuring a lot of stuff out as he goes along. It’s one thing to learn about your abilities, and it’s quite another to try to wield them.
History
Ran away from home shortly after his mother’s death, trying to escape the bad memories. After roaming for over a year, he met Gary, who was heading to the Guilds, and decided to join him. Due to his helpful nature, he spent his time on the road giving assistance to others. Has participated in every mission offered by the Guilds to date. Recently fought Morgan the witch in Darkhowl Woods.

I also find the contrast between Horace's flirty nature yet unwillingness to use Attract very interesting (not sure if I've mentioned it yet or not...) The diversity of species within his family is cool too
